Studio Apartman Kaćunić

Fantastic location! The nearest (sandy!) beach is about 2 minutes on foot, to the next (one of the main and also sandy!) 10 minutes. To the center 30 minutes on foot. Excitable owners! Ankica showed us around the apartment despite the late arrival time. She provided the necessary equipment for the premises but also helped to organize the additional ones we asked for. we were treated to homemade pastries (delicious anyway) and introduced to the family. The facility had a very family atmosphere but we also had enough space for ourselves. Ankica also has a great approach to children and provided us with a cot and lots of toys and whenever she saw our little son she honestly played with him which was lovely. A well-equipped apartment! The place had probably everything you can imagine at home (glasses of various kinds, wine openers, scissors ...) and if something was not there, the owners organized it. There are two separate bathrooms with very quickly heating water. The restaurant is also equipped with two air conditioning (one upstairs and one downstairs).

No wardrobes. The only thing we could complain about was the lack of a wardrobe, so we could only hang clothes on a few hangers and keep the rest under the bed in a pile.

The shower lost its warmth very quickly!

I don't even know where to start...The owners Ankica and Vinko are woderful people, always there to help you with whatever you need and giving good advices, but not intrusive at all. They are so polite and nice and pleasant! They welcomed us with some tasty healthy sweets and they even shared their delicious lunch with us one day. The apartment is very bright and functional. You could equip several apartments with their kitchen equipment. We were staying with 2 kids, one is a 5 months old baby, and the baby bed was set in the main bedroom although we didn't ask for one. And it was an actual wooden baby crib, not the portable one. Not to mention that the apartment is SPOTLESS clean. I was going around Split a lot on feet, and I can tell you that Firule is the best area to stay in Split. You just cross the street and you are on the tennis courts with 2 great cafés. From there you just walk down the stairs to reach the beach. Whether you continue to the left or right, you can't make a mistake since that the areas on both sides are great to take a walk, go for a swim or sit in one of the sea side restaurants and cafés. And the famous city centre is just 15-20 minutes of walk away. Also, the grocery store is just 10 feet away from the apartment, and another huge just a corner away. There is also a great restaurant Movi 10 feet away. I also recommend restaurant Pimpinela, above the apartment. We were ordering more than we can eat, because everything is so tasty and the prices are pretty modest. So, if you are coming to Split, and you want to have great stay, just book the apartment Kacunic!

A great place near the beach (5min walk) and city center (20 min), managed by fantastic hosts, who make their very best, naturally, to make this stay really enjoyable. Perfect for families.
