This casually elegant apartment was the most perfect accommodation we’ve ever had in our travels. The apt is beautifully decorated, impeccably clean, well designed and ideally located for exploring the Menin Gate and Cloth Market area. The proprietors are a wealth of knowledge of the history of the Ypres Salient and stock the apartment with books to assist you in deepening your understanding. We were only one couple but the layout is perfect for 2 couples or a family, with separate bedroom areas, each with own bathrooms.

Absolutely nothing.

The hosts were amazing, so generous, especially with their time. The apartment is spacious, incredibly well equipped and proved to be the sanctuary we needed in what was an emotional few days.

Parking close to front door sometimes busy

The apartment is very large with two bedrooms each served by a shower and toilet. The large open plan lounge and kitchen has comfortable sofas and a well equipped kitchen with everything you need. Piet and Annick were extremely helpful and we were made very welcome.

The communication. The welcome at check in. The location. The facilities. The goodies left in the fridge. The knowledge of the host at check in. The size of the apartment. The homely feel. Everything!!!

Having to leave to come home.

The photos don’t do justice to what a beautiful flat this is. Very well equipped, great location, quiet and the goodies on arrival were very nice. Piet and Annicke are wonderful and conscientious hosts. Highly recommmended.

Beautiful, spacious apartment in peaceful location in the centre of Ypres, 2 minutes walk from the Menin Gate. The hosts were friendly and helpful and left some welcome goodies in the kitchen. Lovely garden and we enjoyed having drinks & meals outside. Well equipped kitchen so good for self-catering but also close to many restaurants in Ypres. We really enjoyed our stay.

A very comfortable convenient home away from home
