Beautiful apartment,great location, very relaxing. Hosts left a welcome pack of some food and beer in the fridge which was a lovely touch.

Top location. The apartment is beautiful and cozy with a great garden. You won't want to leave.

A lovely apartment, nicely furnished and clean. The kitchen is nicely appointed and the hosts kindly provided some items in the fridge (such as butter and jam) which was very helpful. It has a very nice walled garden which would be great in warmer months. Situated conveniently close to the Menin Gate and Grote Markt yet the parking was not as difficult as we feared and the hosts provide a useful map to help you with this. I would definitely stay here again as it is very good value. Also, being on the ground floor, access is excellent for young and old alike.

Nothing really although, being picky, my shower could have been a bit stronger. If you are going to be out and about battlefield walking/touring you may wish to check beforehand about arrangements for drying clothes. This is not a criticism as we did not ask the hosts about this so gave them no chance to help us in that regard.

Saillant is a beautiful apartment in the heart of Ypres. We were greeted by Piet, who showed us the apartment around and provided restaurant recommendations and reference books for the Yper Salient battlefields. Supplies in the refrigerator were a nice surprise. Highly recommended.
