Cairns Esplanade Apartment

Great well equipped property, located on the Esplanade and above Night Market Nice balcony

I liked the apartment set up and its location and view

The apartment needs an update.....bedding, pillows, kitchen needs a good cull and clean out of broken bits and too much stuff.....the washing machine is great to have and use but also needs a clean out, there was mildew on the ceiling and the whole apartment needs a paint. I mopped the floor and verandah on the first day as both areas needed it!!

The location was great, right above the night markets, right across the road from the esplanade pool, walking distance to all cairns central has to offer.

Fear of setting off fire alarm and incurring a large fee - the bathroom door must be kept shut any time the bathroom is steamed up to prevent the fire alarm going off. This also applies to leaving the air conditioner on if the doors to the balcony were open. The unit wasn’t very clean, bedroom had no windows, bed was two singles joined with hard edges where the beds joined, Ferris wheel taking up full view with lights going night and day. No dishwasher, no clothes dryer - making it difficult to get towels or clothing dried in high humidity.

The location was fantastic. You cannot get any better than this in Cairns. The night market is just below the apartment which is very good. The ferry station is just 5 mins walk from the apartment so if you book a tour for Green Island or something, this apartment serves perfect. The room was clean and well maintained. Owner replied to our messages very quickly. The facilities in the apartment were also amazing. Overall, i would suggest this apartment to anyone coming for leisure in Cairns.
