Casa Eden - Modern Peaceful Jungle Apartments

loved Casa Eden; beautifully decorated studio apartment, very clean with beautiful deck overlooking jungle garden. U can hear all the wildlife at night . very well situated outside the main busy street but pretty close to the beaches and 3 supermarkets. We will definitely come back

everything was perfect

Being completely immersed in the jungle and enjoying the well-equipped kitchenette, along with the privacy.

The bicycles were rusty and felt unsafe. Investing in new ones would be a good improvement.

Very much in the jungle but still with easy access to Playa Cocles and the coast around Puerto Viejo. It is part of the Eden complex, which is a small and sympathetic development, in harmony with the surroundings. Leo, who looked after us, was very helpful and accessible even when we had a late night powercut to the street requiring the electricity company engineers to be called out at midnight. Air conditioning was both effective and essential. Decor was very modern and apartment was well equipped. Note you are in the jungle. Quite humid and damp; it can be difficult to dry things (we were offered dry towels every day if required). Insect repellent advised if you want to spend time outside on the terrace. But you are surrounded by wildlife - we had an agouti visit us, and could hear monkeys nearby. The value for what we paid (about $52 per night) was truly excellent.

Not much. There was some mould in the sealants in the bathroom, caused by the humidity, which was a noted problem by the apartment owner.

Being mingled within the jungle was a blast. Saw bunch of hummingbirds. Easy access by car. Porch to sit and listen to the sounds of mother nature was relaxing. Highly recommend!

Pillows are crappy. Easy to fix and upgrade.

Peaceful and beautiful

A bit long away from beaches, but the hotel was super beautiful and peaceful

The place was very clean had everything new in the kitchen and shower was nice and clean.the garden view in the morning was amazing. The stuff was very friendly. We felt very comfortable and would repeat the stay. The place is close to supermarket and main road to the beach. But if you do not have a car it is a bit farther from the center so better to rent the bike as they have it as one of the option.

We got electricity cut one of the night but got resolved pretty fast the management of the place was aware of it as soon as we wrote him about the issue he apologize and tried to solve it. We felt very comfortable and the employees are very friendly . The road to get is a bit difficult as it's in the forest but if you have a car is just ok

What an amazing place! Waking up to the sounds of the jungle was priceless. The villa we stayed in (Villa Mor) was gorgeous. It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into the decor (colours, linen, crockery etc) and layout which blended perfectly with the outdoor surroundings. Communication with Lior (owner) was excellent - nothing was too much trouble and Karen (property manager) did an amazing job (villa beautifully prepared and spotlessly clean) with with a beaming smile! Tip: rent bikes from the property - perfect leisurely and eco- friendly way to explore the local area.

Everything was simply perfect! Lior and Karen are amazing, very responsive and attentive to detail. Peaceful and secluded location yet very close to restaurants, super markets and beaches!

Peaceful and private. Good location about 10 mins from downtown puerto Viejo away from all the noise.
