Regal Retreat Modern 2 bed apartment 400m from sea

The location was excellent. 5minutes to the beach and town centre.

The property was lovely and clean and everything you need in the kitchen was available. On the negative side the bed was uncomfortable maybe a change of mattress and pillows, a full length mirror would be useful and a bin in the bathroom. Also we had problems with the Wi-Fi maybe you could write it on the board which is on the kitchen wall. Just a couple of miner hiccups which could be rectified.

Beds and couch were really soft. We didn’t sleep particularly well. Food from previous occupants left. Struggled with the tv.

Upon arrival at approximately 5pm on the 28/05/26 we entered the property to find that the whole apartment was in a terrible state no cleaning or tidying had been carried out. There was no bed linen on any of the beds which made the yellow and brown stains on the bed stomach churning. There were dirty towels in the bedroom drawers left by the previous occupants. Dirty bed linen in the bath dirty toilet and sink. Every work surface and table in the kitchen and living room had food crumbs and dirty smears all over them.The washing machine had soiled clothing inside it,the dishwasher and sink had dirty cups plates and glasses inside. There was a red medicine tablet on the kitchen floor. The cooking hob was filthy and there were half eaten food items in the fridge and freezer.

Only negative I could mention is being asked to take off the linen of the beds if possible. When paying £50 for cleaning, I don't think it's appropriate to ask people to do the job of the cleaning person that I'm sure is well covered within that fee.
