Wonderful view. Easy to find and very spacious. Good facilities and exceptionally clean. Would come back again!

Second bedroom could have done with a double bed, although the set up would be great if you had kids!

I cannot fault the apartment. It had everything required. Large and well decorated. The agent was exceptional in communicating with us via text and messages. No personal interaction was required. The views were breathtaking and worth every penny.

No parking. It is clear in the property description, so it is not a negative indication on the owner/agents, however, if you are reading this review, then you must be aware that to find a parking space, you will have to search the hilly village and its not always guaranteed, especially returning from Como in the evening (10 mins away)! If you were to take a car, spaces are available during the day so take a taxi or bus into Como town for an evening visit. The apartment is well worth the stay, so its not a deal breaker. You will need to be reasonably fit. I would not recommend this apartment to those unable to walk up hills or steps.

Amazing views to Lake Como. The house was perfect for our family. We loved getting to enjoy the breathtaking views, walking down to the local market, catching the ferry to the nearby towns. It was such a idilic stay.

If something we would have wished is that there would be any reserved parking somewhere. As it was high season it was a challenge to park when you got back late at night so I had to stay with the kids while my husband looked for parking (sometimes it took him a good 30/40 mins) and then had to walk up the steep hill. But I’m sure outside high season that’s not an issue.

The view is outstanding , with the lake , houses and mountains. Could have spent all day on the balcony. The property is furnished in an interesting architectural style. There are regular buses to Como and Bellagio from the village centre. Any queries were quickly resolved by the agents. A pack of pasta and oils as well as tea and coffee were waiting for us.

Location, location! Property was on the second floor (stairs only - not bad) and the view over Lake Como was unbelievable. Nice sitting outside on the balcony. Both bedrooms had an ensuite; the first bedroom was a bit bigger and had a bigger bathroom with bath/shower; the second bedroom was smaller and the shower was just big enough for one person. Good size kitchen area and sitting room. Parking is across the property in a gated area. Was given clear instructions on how to get to the property, the parking and finding the keys. Further up on the road are stairs to get down to the lake, to Momi restaurant, to the ferry next to restaurant, to the boat hire and to the road to catch the bus into Como (very easy connection).

Kitchen is more like a kitchenette - very limited. The winding road up to the property is narrow and busy at times. Not ideal for bigger cars!

Lack of parking.

The property was gorgeous, clean and has an amazing view! Communication for check in and out was great!

The property was fine, the view is exceptional and the cleanliness was perfect.

The owner cancelled our booking less than 24 hours before our check in. Luckily we were able to rebook the very same apartment through a different company, but this situation was incredibly stressful, especially with a young family and nowhere to stay for a short time until we sorted it. The owner/ company happily accepted our booking knowing the ages of our children (The Youngest being 18 months) however we received a complaint from the owner (who lived above) about the noise of a child at 7am, it is obvious that a child of that age can make noise at that time of the morning, our daughter was not crying she just lets out little screams when she wants something as she can’t talk yet. I asked the company/ owner to provide extra bin bags as only one was provided, I was told they were in a cupboard which was locked, I advised this was locked but they just kept saying bin bags were in there. We had to then buy extra bags ourselves. We also had to buy washing up liquid and extra toilet roll/ kitchen roll ourselves too as this wasn’t sufficiently provided.
