It's close to stores. We could cook breakfast (or other meals) the way we wanted to. It felt like home. I didn't want nor need a hotel service but the host was just a chat away in case of questions or other needs anyway.

A member of our group didn't like that the nearby school could get noisy during school hours but that was because we needed to catch up sleep late morning on a school day.
