Broken Lino causing trip hazards. Difficult to get access. Suspicious attitude of owners demanding a deposit and withholding access instructions until last day. A photo promised to help find key safe; not sent.

The accommodation was very good, had everything in it..Will definitely stay again

Not much however the flooring was scabby and taped up in places...that's the only let down in an otherwise excellent place

Nice and clean. Well kitted out. And a short walk to the city centre

Lovely apartment, all amenities provided. Good location, walking distance from city. Free parking. Good size space.

Once we got in and once the hot water was fixed, the property was quiet and clean with a good stove, washing facilities and so forth.

Initially we couldn’t access the property as the cleaner had forgotten to put the keys back in the key safe. We had over an hour of stress and uncertainty where we couldn’t get in touch with the owners at all (please make sure you are contactable when guests are scheduled to check in!) We had driven most of the day and were very tired. As we had no idea what was going on or what to do we looked into other accommodation options and thought we might need to sleep in our car, or drive to a different town in the dark, because everywhere else in Dundee was booked out due to an event that occurred in town that weekend. Eventually the owner got back to us and we finally gained access to the property (almost two hours after we arrived) and not only did it smell of cigarette usage (does the cleaner have no sense of smell?) but the hot water service wasn’t working!! This didn’t get fixed until almost midday the next day. We did not ask for any compensation or partial refund but it would have been nice if it was offered (it wasn’t)! I even got multiple reminders about strict check out times (perhaps automatically generated by booking.com, I don’t know) which was annoying. We checked out on time but a late check out would be the least we deserved I would have thought! Suggestions for owners: *In case of issues *PLEASE* ensure you are contactable when customers are due to check in (we had updated our check-in time on booking.com early that day to reflect our check in time of 19:30HRS and it was over an hour after this time that we finally had contact with the property owner) *Perhaps have a checklist for your cleaner with items such as “keys returned to keysafe” “hot water working?” “any nasty smells like nicotine?”

It was very clean and the facilities were excellent. Everything was top notch, loved the shower and the kitchen items, the kettle was a revelation 😉 easy access to the town centre. Very friendly and helpful owners. We very much enjoyed our stay, thank you.

Nothing at all to complain about, suited us very well.
