Great location to discover Dunbar and North Berwick. Lots of opportunities to cycle/walk along the John Muir Way. Easy to catch a train from Dunbar to get to Edinburgh too.

"3 night stay while working nearby"

Ideal for my requirements; rural and secluded but conveient access to the A1 nearby. Dunbar close by for all shopping & food requirements. Chalet well equipped and comfortable, with nice outdoor seating for evenings or breakfast outside. Friendly and welcoming host.

"Good for a few nights cosy stay."

Nice chalet, quite small but fine for a few nights' stay. Well equipped and warm once we turned heating on. A great shower and bedrooms had lots of storage. Lovely view outside (the nicest view was out the bedroom window). People were lovely and very welcoming. Nice to see the animals in fields outside. Good to have some supplies there like teabags.

Could do with a booklet of instructions re bins etc which is handy in other places I've stayed. A few bits could do with a refresh and inside some kitchen drawers could do with a wee wipe but overall lovely and clean. Also would be nice to have some milk on arrival as it's a car journey to the shop. And bunk bed mattresses were a bit bumpy but kids slept okay in end.

It is a very good chalet. Easy reach within some of the best beaches and other heritage centres

The sign to approach the chalet meads to be bigger, brighter and we’ll sign-posted!! We and our friends did struggle to find the turn-off to the chalet due to poor signage and also being very difficult to see in the dark the tiny sign showing caravan site
