"Just what we needed"

Extremely convenient location just off the A1 and close to the scenic coastline, yet very quiet and private. Much more spacious than anticipated and a very efficient heating. We were very satisfied with our stay.

Description of how to find it could be better, we first ended up at the farmhouse. Either a Google maps pin or What3Words would be great, or just mentioning that it is the first track to the right after the side road for Doon Hill. There is a CCC post at the turn but it was covered by high grass.

"Great location and nice clean facilities."

Location was perfect for me and I could come and go when I wanted to take advantage of the weather for my photography. I could also eat in or out as I wanted as the cabin had all the things I needed to eat in.

A shelf in the shower would be useful to hold soap, shampoo etc.

"Amazing Golden Oak Chalet"

We absolutely loved the location of Golden Oak Chalet!! In the middle of the fields and with a view of the sea in the distance; it was wonderful! And contrary to what is stated in the description of this accommodation: you certainly can park your car at the chalet!
