GBThe whole place is magical and peaceful and allows dogs. The secret garden is fab! The cottage was so comfy and clean and homely and an excellent location for local attractions too and lovely to wake up to the horses hoofs trotting past the window. The hosts are so friendly and helpful it makes all the difference.
The doors were noisy, sounds really pathetic but the door handles and hinges could just do with a squirt of wd40, it made me feel conscious every time I went to the loo in the night etc. And we didn't see the ducks haha so really can't say there was Anything wrong At All. You have a fab home, thank you for sharing it 😊

Even though I was told the instructions were foolproof I couldn't find the cottage Maybe the towels and key that had been left outside the cottage on the picnic table threw me a little as I thought someone was already in the cottage I contacted the owner Rachel to ask for help but it took her 45 minutes to come back to me I also had to ask for towels as there were none in the property. These were provided quickly. The property is very obviously let to work men during the week The person in the adjoining property had left his door open and was smoking pot in his cottage so the smoke and smell were very evident in the communal area Also when packing my car the next morning this could also be smelt in this area I definitely wouldn't stay again

Unfortunately the pictures are a bit misleading the cottage living space is very small and needs more comfortable seats,our courtyard view had a full washing line blocking our window and no private space of our own the outside area was not well maintained (weeds).

GRGBWarm welcome and Dog friendly. Great handgrips in the bathroom & rainforest shower. Information brochure was really good, honesty about the reviews of local restaurants was superb, Very quiet. Slept like a log which is unusual for me. Loved my birthday surprise. Thank you.
The single track roads with high hedges to get there, whichever way we tried!! Thankfully I had a navigator the first day. Perfect for anyone on a cycling holiday though.
