The location was superb- the bed was very comfortable - great space to relax in.

Water pressure was low for filling the lovely bath. Perhaps easier places to stand drinks when watching tv.

The property was in a perfect location right in the town centre,it had all the amenities close by. The property was clean and well presented,it was modern but retained lots of the original features which was really nice.It had a gorgeous free standing bath,always a big plus for me as well as the large comfy bed!

The accessibility was quite difficult due to a narrow staircase leading to the second floor apartment. Due to the age of the property the ceilings were quite low,this was quite quirky and lovely however due to my husband being very tall he did have to duck a few times! The apartment has a designated parking space but unfortunately this was taken when we arrived,the host was very apologetic and did try to rectify the problem.

The location is excellent, right in the centre of Hexham. The marketplace and surrounding area are very nice, with plenty within walking distance. The host was responsive during the stay and did act quickly to replace the mattress when I raised concerns. As a general note for future guests, being in the town centre does mean there can be some noise at night, particularly on Fridays and Saturdays when nearby pubs close.

The first two nights were significantly affected by a very uncomfortable mattress, which impacted sleep before it was replaced. The property has very limited headroom throughout, including low door frames, beams, and hanging light fittings, as well as narrow stair access to the flat. This made it difficult to move around comfortably and would likely be an issue for guests of average or above-average height. These aspects were not clearly highlighted prior to booking. Overall, despite some efforts to address issues during the stay, the property did not meet expectations in terms of comfort and usability.

Lovely inside, lot's of nice touches, Susan (host) was extremely helpful and happy to please.

Parking not easy we decided to use the Long stay car park instead

Parking is not available on site as advertised, only very limited street parking is available. The apartment is on second floor, access is via very narrow, steep stairs with the bottom step easy to miss. Very hard to navigate suitcase up the stairs.

The apartment was very spacious and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a long or short stay. Being a listed building, it had a lot of character and fascinating historical features. It was warm, clean and we felt at home as soon as we entered. The location was right in the center of town and was surrounded by interesting shops and good bars - there was even a Mexican juice and food bar just round the corner. The bed had the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on and we both woke up feeling well rested. The owner, Susan, replied immediately to any questions I had and was very helpful and pleasant. We really enjoyed our stay and I recommend this apartment very highly indeed. Many thanks!
