The Sunset Hideout

The apartment was excellent with stunning views over Lisbon. It was in a quiet area that had once been a chocolate factory. Once we had orientated ourselves with the area we appreciated it's location for getting around Lisbon. We found some great restaurants near by and the the tram 28 was a bonus - although often full. We did a lot of walking and sometimes the climb back up the apartment was too much but local transport was cheap and taxis were reasonably priced. The hosts were very supportive and gave us advice when needed.

The bedroom was on the small size - although the bed was a good size which took up most of the space. It wasn't a problem just needed a bit of logistics when getting dressed.

I was welcomed by the host in a beautiful and clean house. She welcomed us with fruit and wine. The location was great. Everything was comfortable. The host's kind guidance was truly impressive. If I come here again, I will stay here. I highly recommend it.

The Sunset Hideout was amazing. Located in bustling local neighborhood but just enough for quiet evenings in the terrace with amazing views of Lisbon. Possibly the best shower (water pressure and hot way) we have had while traveling in Europe.

The location was perfect. We like this neighborhood a lot and were glad to come back. The area feels more like a local neighborhood. And there is so much to walk to within a short distance. There is also loads of public transport to get you anywhere you need to go.

There a several reviews about the tight bedroom. And it is tight. But the bed is comfortable and there are plenty of closets to put your things in while staying here. Really not an issue.

Nice balcony view of Lisbon

The space was spacious, very clean, comfortable and well equipped.

Our quip isn’t about the property itself. But we were unfortunate in as much as a hotel transfer that was organised for us on our morning of departure did not turn up. This caused us to arrive later than planned at the airport, which resulted in us literally having to run to the gate for our plane. It was very stressful!

The location was perfect - quick 10 minute walk to the centre of Lisbon.
