We loved the appartment, quirky furniture, clean comfortable, plenty of equipment in kitchen , spacious, lovely courtyard for the dog. Great host they we had to contact as my daughter got stuck in snow overnight in Windermere and he was very helpful with a later check out. Nice touch, pint of milk and handwritten note on arrival. Perfect location to walk into Kendal town centre or drive into the lakes !!

Wasn't notified that 2nd bedroom had major leak that day before our 4.30pm arrival. Room not acceptable. Sofa bed offered in lounge for very mature people to sleep on. Only made possible with putting a mattress on top - still uncomfortable and this meant couldn't use lounge, though it was suggested we keep moving mattress in and out of lounge!. Our contact couldn't offer any other ideas or accommodation. Bathroom around bath ingrained dirt, moldy & tiling felt grubby, needs renewing around bath. Outside light unreliable and needed mobile light to find keysafe /input number.Over priced. Offered discount. £100 only.

Lovely welcoming and everything you needed. Close enough to wander to town or walk the castle but far enough away to avoid noise. Lovely hand written welcome note and fresh milk in fridge.

Damp in one of the bedrooms and says ground floor flat but in effect it's a basement flat.

We felt like home. The rooms were big enough, the beds were comfy and we had everything we needed. The parking permit was useful. The location was very good, we could walk from the train station and there is a park and playground nearby. The centre is not far away. It was a very good choice.

The two faucets of the bathroom sink were a bit unusual for us, but it was all good.

Friendly host that made us feel welcome. great location for the Factory Tap.
