SUNNYSIDE APARTMENT - Spacious 2 Bedroom Ground Floor with Free Parking In Kendal, Cumbria

Lots of space, good communication, very clean and good location. You can leave by 11am.

Small things: One of the beds was very soft. If you like watching TV then by modern standards they are very small.

The key box is located very low to the floor on the outside wall, my wife had to get down on her knees to be able to see the numbers to open the lock box, we suggest strongly that this key box is moved to a more natural height for people (particularly of a certain age) to see the numbers and open the box.

The apartment was great and as a person who was born and bred in Kendal it was ideally situated for the main areas of Kendal and my family who I was visiting. The only areas that could be improved for us was the bathroom needs an upgrade, it is functional but a walk in shower etc would massively improve a stay. The bed in one of the bedrooms is extremely soft and whilst this may be ok for some it was not for us as we prefer a harder matress. I have already mentioned the location of the key box above.

lovely spacious pet friendly apartment close to kendal castle. enclosed yard was really convenient for the dog, the beds were comfy, and the kitchen really functional for holiday meals.

Lovely clean apartment, great location and exceptional value.

Lovely building in a nice, 'towny' location, with all mod' cons' (except *)...

(* ... although the TV screen in the one bedroom was a bonus, the very small size of the main TV screen in the lounge/ living room, and the lack of availability of such 'apps' as Netflix, or other film-ordering service) stands out as the most obvious negative to what is otherwise a very well equipped and convenient place to choose for a short break.)
