It was easy to get in and the owner had arranged for someone to check we were in and happy. The furniture is great, the kitchen lovely and clean

Large apartment in a quiet location.

Bed in room 2 was uncomfortable being firm with not much padding. TV was tiny and cheap. Not the problem of the hosts but road works in the town meant long traffic ques and one-way streets.

The property could do with a refresh ( paint) some TLC, The Front door was flimsy did not feel secure, The bed in the back room was uncomfortable

This flat has potential but urgently needs an upgrade. Despite paying a premium, we found it in very poor condition—far below expectations from photos and reviews. The property smelled musty, with visible signs of damp, peeling paint, rusty radiators and worn, stained furniture throughout – particularly the sofas. Basic maintenance is not being done, with broken sockets, loose door fittings and missing lightbulbs in several rooms. The front door is a security risk with only a very loose yale lock holding it together. The lounge is dark due to an overgrown bush blocking the window. The furniture in this room was heavily stained and not pleasant to sit on, nor in - with the smell of damp worst in this room. Cleanliness left much to be desired, with the kitchen and bathroom in particular needing a deep clean. We had to wash all kitchenware before using it, and basic essentials like cleaning cloths and oven gloves were not provided. The bathroom suffered from peeling paint on the ceiling, grimy tiles, and skirting coming away from the walls. Neither bedroom door closed, and both mattresses and pillows were old and uncomfortable, making for several poor nights sleep. The outdoor area could be nice, but the tree needs cutting back and the furniture is rusty. We also had parking issues because the permit was missing. Overall, we wouldn’t stay here again unless it receives significant improvements, but the location is good and with proper care, it could be a great place.

The apartment was in a lovely location, with a short walk into the town. The guy upstairs was super helpful.

The property was very dark, windows were obscured by bushes.we had to spray drawers etc as smell of damp, mop and bucket in bedroom had to be placed in garden due to smell. More towels would have been helpful.

Style and aesthetics of the building. Spacious and could move wheel chair around easily. Only drawback 2 steep steps inside to go down not accessible by wheel chair. No meet and greet, just texting. Was not aware we needed to read the handbooks before hand to operate the heating and where the the bins were located. Had to take bins through house to outside bins. Back courtyard was very nice and convenient . It was well equipped. Plenty seating and comfirtable beds.
