Baixa Heritage Apartments by Cathedral & Tram 28 by NestAtLisbon

A one bedroom flat we stayed for 8 days is in a row of the old houses on rather a steep slope in a very atmospheric area. We felt instantly at home when we entered the old wooden front door. Its location is excellent. Many interesting places to visit and good restaurants are within short walking distance. Bus/tram stops and metro stations are also close. The flat has a fully equipped kitchen, and we had breakfast every morning at ‘home’, looking out the good view. An information book about the property includes step-by-step instructions of how to use the kitchen equipment and other things. It’s clean and tastefully decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed staying there.

It’s not what we didn’t like, but because the building where the flat is, is on the slope (and our flat was on the 3rd floor). Some people may find it challenging to climb up the steep road followed by steep staircase, especially after enjoying lovely and hearty Portuguese food and wine in the evening.

Very functional, new and comfortable. Location is great.

No parking. But there is a public parking in 10 minutes walk.

Host was exceptional and very helpful as it was our first time in Lisbon. Apartment has fantastic views and the bonus balcony was lovely. Apartment had everything we needed and we appreciated the welcome basket with local wine!

The 69 steps!! It was tough to face them after walking all day. But we were fully aware of this when booking the property. They were very steep though and definitely not suitable for anyone with any kind of mobility issues.

The location, how comfortable, convenient and spacious it was.

Ants would climb to the table if there was any little bit of food left. An odor would come out from The bathroom. We had to keep the door closed at all times.

There is everything you will need for a weekend or longer trip. Kitchen equipment was first rate and a relatively quiet area for a capital city. Communication was superb.
