Baixa Heritage Apartments by Cathedral & Tram 28 by NestAtLisbon

The location was excellent as it had almost 20 restaurants, breakfast places, transportation across the city and culture destinations including museums, churches and days out beyond Lisbon. The apartment was right in the middle of one of the best areas of the city, which was a combination of Baixa and Alfama but with very easy access to Nightlife, Shopping and real Lisbon.

As we travelled later in the year (mid September) there were the occasional cloudy/wet days and we looked to hide from the weather but the museums and galleries were difficult to navigate. A number were closed, and getting online and into the sites easily, proved extremely complex. This might be cultural but a number were 'over sold' others simply closed. Get your head around them before you go.

The hosts truly understand hospitality. The apartment is extremely well equipped and comfortable, and the communication from the hosts (Pedro, in our case) could not have been better. Excellent vacation rental.

Very personal service. Although we did not meet the hosts, we had plenty of communication via WhatsApp/text and email. They were so helpful and gave lots of advice and tips to make our stay special. Stop for famous tram E28, E12 and bus 737 among others, just around the corner. Places to eat on the street and nearby. Friendly souvenir shop next door; hand-made jewelery shops across the road; grocery shop just 4-5 mins walk. Compact apartment, but very cleverly designed with attention to detail and special touches. Good wifi and air-conditioning (it was 37C outside 🥵)

4 floors up and no lift - but they are clear about that on the property description. If I hadn't injured my knee a week before it wouldn't have been a problem. For those with accessibility issues, this area of Lisbon is all hills and cobbled streets, so this apartment is on a hill. The steps to the attic bedroom (lovely) are steep and narrow. The bathroom off the kitchen is unusual for us, but wasn't a problem.

Great location, so close to tourist attractions as well as shopping and restaurants and bars. Amazing hospitality from the hosts - they were super accommodating and helpful with lots of recommendations around Lisbon.

Steep stairs - but you can’t avoid these in central Lisbon as most buildings in Lisbon centre are old buildings.

The host was very friendly, had good communication and gave recommendations of tourist sites and restaurants. Excellent location.

Excellent location, nice apartment, hosts are great (they share restaurant and sightseeing ideas, always there if you need anything). Beware of the stairs, in case you do not read the description properly. Not for older people.

Fantastic location and great apartment for a family! Though we were a little hesitant of the stairs (our apt was located on the 4th floor), the quality of the apartment and location far outweighed this inconvenience. The duplex set-up provided great space and privacy for the kids and parents alike. Nice welcome amenities, good AC in all rooms, nice little balcony with a view and we really took advantage of the washing machine (being on the road for over a week by the time we hit Lisboa). Pedro and Rodrigo were great hosts. We were greeted at the flat and explained how everything worked. Received a great list of recommendations to better enjoy the city as well. All and all, easy to recommend this flat and the Nest Team.

We got lucky and found a parking in the street almost in front of the apartment where we could leave the car over the weekend. If street parking can't be found, an outside parking located 5 mins away is the recommended solution.

This property is located in the heart of Lisbon and is within walking distance of most of the restaurants, bars, clubs and public transport. The actual property has all the amenities you need for your stay to be comfortable. The hosts are absolute legends and will make your stay in Lisbon incredible. Pedro and Rodrigo provided us with a list of recommendations for just about everything in Lisbon. If you are not sure where to stay then definitely go with these guys. Local knowledge goes a long way and I will definitely be returning back to this gorgeous city because these guys made the experience great.
