a problem with getting rid of rubbish. told to take down to bin on street which didn’t exist. Keys were difficult to use Informed owner who said she would sort out.

We liked the charming feel of the apartment, all the decorations and lights that set the mood, enough space to move around and two balconies. It was so practical that there was a Iron, hair-dryer, Coffee maker and like basic stuff that were at our disposal. Also, the beds were comfortable and all the linen and towls that were complimentary were fresh and clean. The living room has a functional tv and stereo that was very much appreciated since it aired all the amazing portugeese music and we were not left in silence during breakfast. It has to be mentioned that our trip was buisness related so most of us were absent from the apartment for most of the day. However one of our colleague got sick and had to stay in the appartment. It was so convinient that there is farmacy literaly accross the street and the local supermarket so that we could get her everything she needed. Also, there is an elivator in the building which is much appreciated and a trash dispenser across the street.

Well, there was few little things that kind of rub us the wrong way. The water heater is somewhat outdated and it took us very long time each night to get hot water for showering, and to figure out how to make it work. Also, one of the door knob on one of the bedrooms was so loose that we were afraid to close the door shut in case it brooke of. However these things could easily be fixed:)

Apartment is close to Praça do Marquês Pombal, a major transit hub for the metro and busses. although there are several that stop on the same block as the apartment. Very easy to get around. There is a pastelaria downstairs, so coffee, pastries, buns, and light meals are readily available, but there are plenty of other restaurants in the neighborhood. Both a grocery and minimart are close. Apartment is spacious, clean, and well-appointed. There is a small front balcony and a larger one in the back, with a side room containing an extra toilet and the washing machine. There is room on the back balcony to both sit and to hang laundry, and the view is over interior gardens and patios. We stayed a week with friends, and were very pleased. Host met us early Sunday morning, accommodating a very early plane arrival. Highly recommend.
