Old house but well renovated. quite comfortable to stay. Kitchenette has enough equipments for simple meals. This apartment was located on the hill so that I could see beautiful ocean view whenever I go out to city center.

There was car noise from the road next to the apartment, and stair steps. Although not many times.

Host Pedro was very kind and attentive

The owner is very nice and was super flexible about our check in time. We felt very welcome and liked the fact that there were essentials like salt & pepper in the kitchen. A big plus for the coffee machine and the included coffee! The area is nice, not too far from beautiful Belem. Dog friendly without extra fees.

Please be aware that there are two appartments and from the photos and description you can not tell which one you have booked. Our appartment didn't have a direct access to the terrace which was very disappointing. The apartment is nice but not very functional: no plug in the bathroom and very, very small kitchen where basically you can only prepare one pot meals. For a short stay it's fine.

Pedro was very kind and welcoming. We thought the property had one apartment. It turns out there are 2. As we had dogs, we preferred the apartment that opened out onto a private little garden. Although it wasn't ready, Pedro very kindly said he would get it ready for us. It made all the difference to our stay. There is also a garden across the road that our dogs loved to run around in. Free parking is available on the road and it's a very quiet area when sleeping at night.

The Owner was so friendly. His family made us feel part of the family bringing us some traditional delights throughout our Visit. The location is well situated. Just a short walk to the Pasties de Belém. And a very good and well priced Churrasqueira (Churrasqueira do Marques). There is a tram stop just up the road. if you go with your 4 legged family members there is a park across the road. Overall was a great stay and would love to stay there again in the future.
