FLH Santa Marta Portuguese Flat

The Location was good it was 15 minutes walk to the center.

The photos maked the apartment seem brighter and more modern than the reality. There were problems with damp throughout the apartment. However these issues may be due to the old building.

Great location, located in a nice area near city centre, lots of cafes restaurants and shops. The apartment was very spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable. Checkin and out was very convenient.

The apartment was very clean however there was an odour throughout. Not sure what it was. The building was old so possibly due to plumbing. It would not put us off staying again though.

The flat had so much space and the divided bedrooms each with their own bathroom was fantastic! It was so comfortable, clean, and tidy. Location was ideal and directions, and instructions clear.

No ventilation in the bathrooms and the slow draining shower drains but perhaps expected from just an old building.

The size of the flat was good and it was not far from downtown area.

We had trouble opening the door as the key was unique and felt we should have been given a video or told specifically how to use it. Very frustrating after arriving from a long flight and not simple to open the door. Also. I specifically emailed company about the number of air conditioning units in the flat. There is one in living area and one in front bedroom. There is no unit in rear bedroom. This did not bother my husband but it was a bit warm and management was not straightforward since they replied to my email that nothing bedroom s have AC.

Photos provided of key box location helpful. The apartment was modern, spacious and clean.

The keys were really fiddly and often took 5-6 attempts to open the main door. Some damp issues but an d building.
