"Fantastic apartment for exploring Lisbon and districts"

Superb little apartment ideally located in Alfama, which has a maze of smaller bars and restaurants, perfect for couples to explore the city and surrounding areas. Just 10 mins to main square, 5 mins to Santa Apolonia station, which has great supermarket selling everything needed (hot whole chicken & fresh bread) for any self catering needs.

No complaints, just a note that the apartment is on the 2nd floor via a tight steep 20-odd staircase, as ins a lovely old building. We are in our 60's and was ok, but possibly not for people with restrictions

"We felt it was over priced!"

There are over 60 stairs from the street level to the apartment, making it extremely difficult to carry luggage or belongings—especially for a family. This must be mentioned in the property description… Additionally, the water heater is very small, so the hot water runs out after just one shower, making it impossible for our whole family to shower comfortably. And lastly, some furnitures such as cattle or iron were dated and dirty!

We thought the decoration was nice. Check in and check out was easy.

It smelled of urine from the second we walked in. We reported it to the owner and they did nothing. The bed was uncomfortable, it sloped and sagged. The floor is uneven so you feel like you’re walking up hill when walking towards the bedroom. The kitchen utensils were dirty when we arrived. Lot of noise. Again, the smell was awful!

Clean, it had all we needed, host was very responsive.

Nothing that could be changed or the host's fault, but lots of stairs to get to the apartment, so not appropriate if you are not fit.

"Superb"

Cosy, clean apartment with all equipments we needed. Very good location, close to the heart of Lisbon. Nuno is a super host, easy to communicate with.

For a longer stay the appartment is definitely not comfortable for 4 persons because it is too small for that. For 1 night it was ok for us.
