Alfama T1 Travel

The proprietor allowed us to drop off our luggage, because our flight to Lisbon arrived at 9:10am. This was very helpful for us, and we really appreciated his flexibility in this regard. The apartment is small, but has everything that you need. We enjoyed the location in the Alfama neighborhood. It was close to a lot of good sights.

The property is located in the lower Alfama district next to a college/university. A restaurant/bar affiliated with the university is located across the sidewalk from the apartment. Lots of students hang out there, and it can get a little loud in the afternoons/early evenings. However, things start to quiet down, before it gets too late. The air conditioner in the apartment does not cool continually. It will run for about an hour and then shut off. So, at night, we would have to get up, when it got too hot, and start the air conditioner again. This wouldn't be an issue in the late Fall, but we were there in October, and it was an issue for us. I would recommend that the proprietor at least provide a small box fan for the bedroom area, in order to provide some degree of air flow in the rear part of the apartment.

Great location, transportation just nearby within 5 minutes walking, Praca do Comercio 15 minutes walk. Shops, cafes, bars and restaurants within 1 minute walk. Very autentic experience. Could get a bit noisy in the morning as the university building is just opposite. Free coffee available.

Perfect location, nice and clean apartment. Definitely recommend staying in Lisbon.

Good location and amenities with room.

It is a cozy apartment situated in Alfama, at minutes of walking from the most important places to visit in Lisbon. It has everything for a relaxing stay in Lisbon, no car needed, just the desire to explore. Near the apartmemt there are places where you can enjoy breakfast. Also, few words about the host. Nuno was very friendly, keep in touch with us and help us when we needed. Thank you, Nuno! We will come back with pleasure at this nice place.
