FLH Marquês Comfy Apartment

The apartment was very well appointed with everything you need for a short stay. Located in a relatively quite residential area with local restaurants and cafes.

From the two metro stations it was a steep uphill climb. However, once you work it out and follow the locals the buses did the work for you.

The apartment was spacious and comfortable. Appreciated having a washing machine. Nice to be able to watch a bit of live TV. Lots of cupboard space. Location was not bad - we were able to walk most places. There was a nice restaurant across the road where we could get a pizza which was convenient since we got in late the first night.

Some of the walls in the kitchen and bathroom could have been scrubbed better. There was a coffee machine but no coffee pods. This would have been a nice touch as it did not make sense to go buy a box of pods for 2 nights. When we took out the garbarge and recycling, all the bins on the street were full. Although most places require you to take out the garbarge, it was a pet peeve.

Well equipped and stocked apartment. Nicely decorated and functional.

Had a few issues getting into building as was given wrong code and electronic door. Needed to have more pillows. We were on 6th floor but somehow we had small crawling bugs in the apartment, no idea where they came from.

Great apartment in a good location within walking distance of the city. Beautifully appointed place. We really enjoyed our stay

Excellent location, good set up of a flat with a living area and a separate bedroom. The check in seemed to be complicated but it worked well for us. Also, the staff was very responsive to our request to clean the apartment. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

There are couple of things that could be improved. We had many ants in the flat, especially in bathroom and kitchen. There was no spray provided to eliminate them. Also, the kitchen had no basic amenities. There was zero coffee/tea/sugar/salt/oil. I wonder whether it is expected from all guests to buy all of those even for short stays. It would be lovely if there is some kind of basic kitchen stuff if the flat includes kitchen :)
