FLH Marquês Comfy Apartment

- the apartment is beautiful! To be honest, I liked it in Person ways more than on the pictures. The kitchen is fully stocked and has also very good Smeg appliances ( which were properly clean ( no weird smells etc)) - the sofa and chairs are comfy - the mattress is rather firm - the little balcony is lovely with a bit of a view onto the bridge - the apartment is quiet and very well located - the heating works and the windows are soundproof - the hosts replied always super fast to any requests/ questions via Whatsapp and were very friendly Overall, I would totally book this place again- it is great!

The apartment is spacious, comfortable, nicely decorated and furnished. The location is quite good: 8 minutes walk to the two nearby metro stations.

The instructions regarding access to the building were not clear enough. After several messages and phone calls, we managed to enter.

Spacious and lovely apartment located in a new building. Doors to the building required a code that was given to us prior to our visit. Apartment doors use an electronic solution, which required calling the owner to open the doors for the first time (went quite smoothly). Living room with a kitchen corner, separate bedroom, very nice bathroom. Lots of storage space, nicely decorated interiors. Good internet connection, smart TV. AC, possibility to set different room temperature for Living Room and Bedroom. Coffee machine for Nespresso capsules. Close to metro stations Rato and Marques de Pombal. Walking distance to the old city - 2,7 km to Praca do Comercio, all the way downhill, passing by other sightseeing points. Convenient shops near the apartment - Pingo Doce, Auchan in the shopping center.

Check-in procedure can be a bit confusing at the beginning as the information on Booking vs. owners website vs. actual vary a bit. Once we got the information from the owner (on the day of our arrival) all became clear.

Distance from the centre. Also, there there is no "welcome pack" such as coffee pods for the coffee machine, a basic if a machine is provided. Obviously , there was no milk, water, or wine either. (This contrasts poorly with our experiences of other similar accommodations) I had asked in advance of our arrival for a soft pillow. I received a generic reply that they didn't supply extra pillows. Not very welcoming. As all of the pillows within the apartment were extremely firm, I went and bought one, which should not have been necessary.
