Oxford City Apartment in Jericho Spacious Modern Free Parking, Walk to Bus, Rail and University

Robert waited for us at the property giving us the keys and all the information. The location was brilliant, flat at the ground floor very easy to get in to, very clean and spacious flat with two bedrooms and two toilets, one kitchen nicely organised, car park is free just underneath the apartment.

Nice to be in Jericho, had enough space for 4 people. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Poorly equipped kitchen, sofa sank down on one side, dated bathrooms, old carpets. Needs a refresh and the kitchen equipment replacing. Toilet brushes are horrible!!!

Gated estate clean and safe. Underground gated car park secure. Apartment clean and tidy. Location very good.

We were made to do the housekeeper’s work, such as stripping the sheets and taking out the rubbish.

The property looked good in the photos, so we booked it about 10 days before our stay and paid the full amount in advance. About one hour later, £150 was taken from my account. When I asked about it, I was told it was a deposit that would be refunded after check-out. I was surprised because this was not clearly shown during the booking process. Shortly before our arrival, we received a long list of rules. We were asked to take the rubbish outside to a waste area in the courtyard and to remove the bed sheets before leaving. This was very unpleasant because when removing the sheets you could see the old, worn and smelly pillows, mattress and duvet underneath. The real disappointment started when we arrived. The property is quite far from the city centre, the check-in and check-out times are inconvenient, and early check-in requires a high extra fee. Our reservation was for 2 adults and 3 children, but there were only two double beds. When I asked about this, they opened a dirty storage room and suggested we take an old, yellowed mattress from there. The other beds were also stained, yellowed and smelled bad, so nobody could rest properly during our stay. The bathroom was also in very poor condition, with mouldy taps and a dirty toilet. The heating and hot water system were difficult to operate, and the shower only worked for about five minutes at a time. Overall, the property was extremely dirty and poorly maintained. The price and the quality are completely mismatched. I would definitely not recommend this place. Also, the £150 deposit was returned only after 10 days. In total, they held our money for 22 days. This experience was a complete disappointment.

A little bit more distant from the centre than I’d assumed. There were some minor cleanliness issues. The toilet brush in the main bathroom was clearly very dirty and there was a long black hair in my bed!

This was a clean, spacious and well appointed two bedroom, two bathroom apartment. Easy to find with the added bonus of parking. Fabulous location just a short walk from everything. Jericho is a lovely, vibrant and bohemian area of Oxford with lots of lovely independent cafes, restaurants and bars. Highly recommended.

Excellent location, very clean, and easy stay We had a very pleasant stay in this apartment and would happily recommend it to other international travellers. The location is excellent — around a 10-minute walk to Worcester College, the Ashmolean Museum, and the theatre, which made exploring Oxford very easy. There are many restaurants, pubs, and coffee shops nearby, all within comfortable walking distance. The apartment was very clean, well organised, and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided, which made our stay simple and relaxing. The local representative was friendly and helpful, offering great support during our visit — thank you. The kitchen was fully equipped, ideal for longer stays, and having supermarkets close by was very convenient. We also appreciated the good parking, which is not always easy to find in Oxford. Overall, this apartment offers excellent value, a great central location, and a stress-free experience. We would gladly stay here again and recommend it to couples, families, and academic visitors.
