"Well-kept apartment, unfortunately not on Cornmarket Street as indicated on the Booking.com site which is very confusing"

Great that it has parking. Lovely chap met us to show us where the parking spot was.

Not in the location indicated on the Booking.com site. Lots of instructions including having to clean, take bins to a different location and strip beds after stay. One of the towels had horrible looking stains. The rest were great. Couldn’t figure out from the instructions how to turn on the heating in the sitting room/kitchen.

L'emplacement est très bien, accès rapide au centre ville et toutes les commodités sont à proximité. L'appartement à 2 salles de bains c'est top !

Le ménage était grossièrement fait mais moyen, l'eau c'est compliqué il faut couper l'eau chaude après chaque utilisation et les robinets fuient beaucoup ils sont impossibles à refermer...

"Nice apartment close to canal and restaurants. Easy walk to the centre and the university precinct."

We were met by the facilities manager who handed over keys and inducted us into the apartment. He gave a professional briefing and was very pleasant. The apartment was comfortable and had plenty of space. It was close to the suburb of Jericho - bars and restaurants. It backed onto the canal which offered a nice walk down towards the city centre, about 1.5km. The property is very secure - locked gates at night.

Other travellers should be aware that the management company uses its city office as an address on Booking.com - this is Not where the apartment is located. So if you want accommodation in the city you need to be mindful of this issue. That said, it was close enough for us in any case.

"The address is wrong, not in the center"

First the apt is NOT in the center as declared on booking.com (is not at 52 Clarendon House, but is Walton Well Road, at 1.6km and 20’ by walk from the declared address). The exact address (1furnace house) is not even on gmaps) . Before arrival they send a super long message with all house rules and penalties applied in various possible cases.. at the end of the msg, they say that the address is another one). The original address is in a limited acces zone, so do not approach the area ir you get fines. If you check in/our out out of time is 20£/h. If you don’t leave the apt as they ask, they can charge up to 100£! They send a mag with a lot of house rules, inckuding switching off the hot water when you are not in the house! Ridiculous. You are required to empty the trash before leaving (never seen such request for a 1 night stay)! To do so, there is a code, if you don’t take note of the code, and you already dropped the key, you don’t know how to put the trash. Maybe all these rules have sense for long stay (weeks, or month), but not for short stay. Basically we pass the time there by thinking how to avoid any penalty, and upset for being at 1mile from the center. We did not recieve any extra charge, but this is not a nice way to spend a night. So if you want to visit oxford for 1-2 days, this is NOT the best place. Maybe is a good solution if you live here for some weeks or months and move by bike… but NOT for short stay. Then, add: light in the bathroom not working, sink without the mixer, kitchen sink with only hot water (no cold water), the sponge to clean dish is not new with hairs on..

The location was very good. the housekeeper was friendly.

house rules were a little too "quirky" - had to manage hot water use, clean the apartment, take out the garbage. We arrived a bit later than expected and the owner seemed a bit frantic to reach me due to the need for a person to be present to hand over keys and provide an orientation to the unit. check-in should be more customer friendly

"Large comfy apartment with parking"

Ease of parking, large rooms, multiple bathrooms, quiet area, 20 min walk or £7 uber into town

Small items. 1 key, No usb plugs, no plug near dressing table/ desk, main bathroom light didn’t work, en-suite cold tap dripped, few thin towels.

"Very disappointing"

The flat was much further away (25 minutes !) from the town centre than expected (and discussed on the phone!!!) My 84-year-old mum could NOT walk that much! We HAD to check in between 16:00 & 18:00 (in order not to be charged an extra)...HOWEVER, official check out was at...10 o'clock in the morning! (They let us stay for ONE more hour...WOW! how generous of them! I paid more than 200 pounds for one night!!!) Lots of things just didn't work properly in the flat (TV remote, bathroom tap and main light) We were only given ONE set of keys (for 4 people)! And a long etc... Very disappointed with this place.
