KL Tower Makati Apartments by PH Staycation

Location is pretty good within Makati, though it can be difficult to access from other parts of Manila (such as the museums area) due to traffic

Pool and gym were closed ALL day on the Monday, for weekly cleaning. This should be shortened to a shorter period of time, or spread throughout the week. At one point I asked one of the people working the front desk if we should flush the toilet paper or throw it in the garbage. I was then asked "what room are you staying in?" - I'm not sure why my room # matters for a general question like this. A lot of the electrical outlets did not "hold" well, you had to really make sure things were plugged in properly. The unit also includes a coffee maker - but no coffee. Kind of useless. I also asked for an extra key - I was told there was one within the room. But this isn't actually a "key" - it's a card you use for in suite electricity.

We liked how accommodating they were and how honest the staff was since we left our things and they were still there when we came back. We also like how water and tissue was provided. The sheets, towels, and pillows were clean and good.

There was a miscommunication about the card thing for the lights since we didn't know and we weren't told it wasn't going to be in the room itself. There wasn't a lot of places to hang our things so we suggest more hooks We noticed it late so we weren't able to say this directly but the tv's socket is very loose so when we hit the wire, it turns off. Some of the drawers weren't clean too, they had a thick layer of dust It was also very inconvenient that all of their staff had the same lunch break because we'd have to wait until 2 or 3 in the afternoon for something we requested earlier in the morning

The rooms are immaculately cleaned. The bed is very comfortable. The location is strategically close to Greenbelt and Makati CBD

There is nothing to complain about the place.

The location is nice.

The lighting in the room was a little dark or dim.

The convenience of the next door cafe/restaurant that served good food. The convenience of having the next door 24/7 convenience shop and bank to exchange currencies. The location was excellent.

The free airport transfers that was supposed to be provided complimentary with my booking failed to collect me at the airport. Despite the numerous confirmation messages by the transportation staff assuring met that a car was picking me up at the airport arrivals it never came. After over an hour of waiting, I decided to take a cab and arrived at the hotel at midnight. Upon check-in. the studio seemed clean but the next morning I found a live cockroach in the toilet. On the 2nd day, I informed the property staff through booking.com helpdesk chat about the issue and they sent someone to clean the room. However, the nect day I found a 2nd cockroach. I bought myself a can of Baygon cockroach & mosquito killer and would spray the room daily before going out. During my 14 day stay, I found & killed a total of 5 live cockroaches at the studio. If only I were not too busy going out every day visiting my mother who was very ill, I would have asked to be moved to another studio but I didn't really have the time to coordinate this with the property staff even if the situation was stressful .

Staff are welcoming. In a quiet location.

There was no duvet which is better than the very thin blanket.
