Clean and modern apartment with all the amenities in a great location, near many bars and restaurants. Giovanni, the host, provided excellent recommendations.

A spacious one bedroom flat on the first floor in a quiet back street of Modica. Tastefully furnished with good quality bed and amenities. New appliances including washing machine with detergent provided. It felt like a home away from home. Parking was easily sorted (few minutes walk away to free parking) as was dropping off luggage (directly in front of the apartment). Our host Giovanni was very hospitable and helpful. It's a short walk to the main areas of interest as many good eating places. Small supermarket for essentials about 5 mins walk. We would stay again if back in Modica.

Wow! This apartment with terrace (Amaranto) was just perfect! Ideal location with easy access to free parking, grocery shopping, and many of Modica's sights. While just off the main street, it is a quiet (especially with the double-paned windows) nicely designed, and very recently updated apartment with all amenities, a super comfortable bed, and a huge terrace. The kitchen is well equipped for self-catering, but don't miss the incredible pizzeria (Frumento) just next door. The gracious, English-speaking host met us upon arrival, carried our bags up the one flight to the apartment, gave us the run-down of the place, and then, with a map, gave us a wonderful orientation to Modica and environs. Then he proceeded to lead us the few blocks to free parking and explained the parking rules for the city. Host remained very responsive throughout our six day stay. All in all, it could not have been better!

We loved everything!

Giovanni met us and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. He ensured that we knew where the best spots of lunch and granite - as well as taking us to a car parking area - and then taking us back in his car, to the accommodation. We could not actually, ask for a more conscientious and graceful handover! Caosì buono

Centrally located in lovely Modica. The apartment was stylish, clean and roomy and had a spacious balcony. All useful appliances were there. Landlord Giovanni was very nice, came to welcome us and was full of very nice ideas on what to visit, where to eat and the local things not to miss out on.

Beautifully furnished..everything high quality..spacious and very large balcony to enjoy outdoor relaxation..excellent location to walk the city..plenty of shops and restaurants near by..will definitely stay again..

The location of the property was excellent in lower Modica and if you’re in good condition you can get to the beautiful upper Modica by walking up streets and stairs for about 1/2 hour. There are good restaurants near the apartment as well as a supermarket (closed from 1-4 every day) about 2 blocks away. Free parking is about a 5 minute walk and one of the staff will gladly show you where that is after you unload your suitcases. The terrace was excellent and also good for drying clothes after using the washing machine. The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of room in the apartment. The staff was very accommodating—thank you! We recommend it and we would stay there again.

There were only 2 things that we didn’t like: 1. Although the shower has plenty of hot water, it is quite small. 2. They have very few English speaking channels on the tv (and no Netflix), so use your iPad.😊

Excellent apartment in the heart of the historic part of Modica. Greeted on arrival by Giovanni who welcomed us warmly and made us feel very welcome. The apartment is modern and well designed, comfortable and well equipped. Perfectly situated for all amenities- restaurants, bars, supermarkets and parking.

We liked the location and the terrace. We thought our host , Giovanni, did an excellent job of helping us navigate the neighborhood and the surrounding villages.
