Keys of Sicily - Appartamenti Modica Bassa

Very comfortable,modern apartment with excellent facilities.Very good location with restaurants and bars nearby,also 10-15 minutes walk to train and bus stations with good links to other beautiful towns.Great hosts who communicated well.

We enjoyed our recent stay at the Keys of Sicily. The apartment is a brand new remodel in the historic center of Modica. It has a huge balcony extending the full length of the apartment with outdoor seating and a table and chairs. If you would like to do your own cooking, there is a fully furnished small kitchen with excellent new appliances including a gas cooktop, oven, dishwasher and large refrigeration. There is also a new washing machine that came in very handy during our stay. The apartment is in the perfect location for enjoying the historic center of Modica with restaurants, shopping and sites to see within easy walking distance. This apartment is a true gem! Our host Giovanni met us at the door on arrival. He was great at reviewing all of the sites for us to see in Modica and nearby towns. He answered all of our questions, and made sure that we had a good parking place for our rented car. One day later, he texted us to follow up. My wife and I have travelled all over the world, but we have never met a kinder, more client-centered, and better organized host than Giovanni.

It was all perfect.

Fantastic little apartment. In a nondescript alley, but close to the main street in town and a short walk to the old part of town. Giovanni was extremely nice and helpful, showing us parking, booking restaurant, providing advice and allowing us to check in a little early. Really comfortable apartment, and beds, with a small balcony. Very quiet at night. Near restaurants, supermarket and parking. We had a great stay.

For some reason you can't pay through booking.com, you have to make a bank transfer. I was understandably a bit nervous about this. It was fine, but a bit of added hassle and I suspect some people are put off by this. We found the heating a little complicated to work out, but Giovanni came and helped us with this.

Lots of space and two good bathrooms.

Kitchen was very lightly supplied with tableware and absolutely no condiments save a limited number of coffee pods.

Modern, clean, and comfortable, and good location - near Modica's center. Very friendly and helpful host with a lot of good ideas where to go/what to see/where to eat.

It was a little bit cold in the house but they do have air conditioning which can be used as heater..

This is a beautiful, fabulous apartment in a great location! It's one of the nicest places we have stayed! Giovanni was so helpful with early check-in, holding bags at check-out, and restaurant suggestions. Comfortable large, bed and nice, hot shower. This is a spacious apartment. Nice kitchen with a dishwasher, everything is new and modern. Happy to have a washing machine too! We loved Giovanni's suggestion of Ricotta & Co., Mangiare di Casa! The ricotta ravioli with butter and sage was heavenly!

Not a thing.

Giovanni is a fantastic host, getting in touch with us beforehand for the key collection. He met us at the property to give us the key, showed us where to park for free and then recommended places for excursions, restaurants etc. The apartment was spotlessly clean, 2 separate well-sized bedrooms, a very nice balcony. Location-wise is very convenient for all attractions in Modica.

Small detail, but the pillows could have been better, to match how comfy the bed was.

The apartament is conveniently located for sightseeing, it is well equipped and tastefully designed. The host is very friendly and helpful, he shared his passion for the city with us by giving us a little tour and telling about interesting places to visit in Modica and neighbouring towns.

the clean, well located, quiet place. Modern with all the amenities (but why would you cook when in Sicily?). loved the balcony.

maybe some toiletries would be nice. although not a big deal because we brought ours.
