FLH Chiado Modern Place

Splendid location! Only here you can have the famous rainbow umbrella-shaded pink street to yourself first thing in the morning before the crowds arrive. Very comfortable place to stay, excellent beds. There's elevator all the way from the lowest floor exit. Street noise you can deal with easily. Lots of places to eat in the area, plenty great restaurants. City sightseeing bus stop nearby.

Odd smell in the bathroom/toilet area, stronger after shower cause of the water escaping the cabin. I get that it may be because of the recent floods in Lisbon, but it smelled unsanitary at times. And forget you tea - water in Lisbon is chlorinated beyond recognition.

The bathroom has mold. The windows are broken. The location is one of the noisiest streets of the city. People go there to get drunk and make a lot of noise until early in the morning. Someone tried to open our door at nicht on our first night. We couldn’t use the washing machine because they don’t provide detergent. The place wasn’t very clean.

Everything was very clean and modern as described. The location was fantastic. A little loud at night but great to be right in the centre.

No cleaning for 4 days. No clean towels or toiletries at all! Balcony door broken.

The flat is at the perfect location,even though a little bit noisy at night.Has everything that you need and it' s comfortable.I liked the pictures in the apartment.

The only thing is that the balcony windows couldn't be closed properly and you really need to do so if you want to sleep,because people are partying in front of the building,up to 6.am Also,sone guys in front of the entrance door to the building,know the code for the door,and do not stay there,in the building.That's not comfortable. The safe deposit box is in the apartment,but no instrctions,and they told me it's not working.

The apartment was comfortable, spacious and clean. Nice rain forrest shower. The door to small balcony is broken and hard to operate (saw this mentioned on prior review so likely the case for a while). The biggest drawback (for us) is proximity to Pink Street nightlife area that goes all night long. One morning went for a walk around 6am and encountered drunks peeing and puking outside the building (yea for real). The back of the building on that gritty area. Front of building is fine. Besides these issues we liked it for the money.

the remote check in was slightly stressful as our flight was delayed and we couldn’t call the number as our 4g wasn’t working. We had to find Wi-Fi to coordinate this and a clearer check in description would have been beneficial
