Superb view of the old town from kitchen. Good sized rooms and everything you need, even a washing machine in one apartment. Simple but fine. Very attentive hosts, made me, as a single female traveller, feel very welcome and they were always available to help if necessary as they own a bar/cafe locally.

One might struggle if unfit as quite a steep road to town but you'd expect that in a hillside town!

The property was central to the old town and well equipped Nicole was an amazing host and provided a lovely gift bag of Sicilian produce. Very thoughtful and generous The view from the balcony was wonderful to wake up to each morning

The shower wasn’t great as it was not attached well to the wall

It's a short walk to the center. It's an uphill walk, but still walkable. Nicola was friendly and helpful and also owns a great establishment near the center for breakfast in the morning or a drink in the evening. The apartment was spacious, clean, and included everything needed for a pleasant stay.

Loved the town, very historic, friendly residents even though I spoke no Italian. Extremely safe. Every building looked like a historic monument. It you want to see what old Sicily looked like, visit historic Salemi to walk the streets for a few days!

I cannot tell you how special it was to wake up every morning and go to sleep every night looking at the beautiful old city of Salemi. The apartment was a short walk to the market and to the old city center to Tazze pazze (the best little café, bar and meeting spot) most importantly, a beautiful walk to Salemi Ceramics, which was the reason why I was there. At first it looks like it's 1,000,000 miles away but there's a path that actually cuts right up to the main street of the old city and then it's less than a five minute walk to the ceramic studio. The apartment was huge and it had a pullout sofa so if you are traveling with a close friend if there's plenty of room in the apartment for two people .bathroom is huge and has a beautiful view .Nicola and Angela were incredible hosts that made me feel very welcome.
