Halicia Vacanze

I was staying a week in Salemi for a ceramics course - Nicola collected me from the town square and took me to the apartment. He also owns the main bar in town so he was an ever present person that week which was lovely! Fabulous welcome pack, any issues immediately sorted - the perfect host….

I realised when booking it would be a short uphill walk to the square and up on to the monastery - which was perfect for me as I wanted to exercise! There is a shortcut to the square up about 80 steps or you can walk around the road - so just to note for those less mobile…

The apartment was clean, spacious and had an incredible view of Salemi old town. I was made to feel very welcome by Nicola, the owner, who greeted me on arrival.

Nicola was extremely generous, picking me up from the town square to show me the apartment. He had also included a beautiful welcome box with pasta and additional local goods from Salemi. The best part was the beautiful view of Salemi from the balcony!

All perfect, it would have been 10/10 if they had shower gel and shampoo, which were the only things missing.

Lovely owner and great location. Very comfortable apartment. I'd definitely stay here again. The owner has an amazing cafe in town as well (lovely coffee and pastries!). Amazing value. The apartment I was in had beautiful views as well. Highly recommend.

Ciao! We have stayed 03 times at Halicia Vacanze for our familiy reunions and we love the views of Salemi from our balcony. Location is perfect as is near Piazza Libertá where you can catch a bus to Palermo. Customer Service is amazing: Nicola & Angela are your hosts and will look after you, they own a bar near by where you can have breakfast or enjoy a delicious cake. Apartment is very clean,comfy, has wifi and well presented for self catering standards. We will be back! Grazie tante!

Perfect location, great view, apartment was spotless.

Kitchen could use a few more utensils, such as cutting board, lighter for the gas stove and dish soap to make a longer stay easier, but other than that it was great!
