Host & Stay - Abbey Hus

Everything was beautiful...maybe more than two little capsules of milk so we could have the had a brew in the morning without having to find a shop would have been nice ..no use putting enough condiments to make 50 brews and only enough milk to make 2..?

We had no information about the parking situation..we was asking people around the streets what to do..one person who had just arrived also told us to go to our room ..he said there must be a welcome pack..with a token in it for the parking?? There was nothing like that..letters on lampposts? Certain zones for some people etc..we had no idea and no information..we ended up parking on the train station carpark for £30..thats a hell of a walk with all your bags...some information regarding that would be nice for you future tenants

Bright and airy apartment. Modern Great location Hot water and good water pressure in shower. Stripped bed on departure and mattress protector/ bedding surprisingly clean.

Security light needed outside main door for when it is dark. Street is pitch black and risk of trips. Stairway leading to apartment smells extremely foisty ( also smelt of weed - guessing one of the guests in the other apartment was smoking it). Stairway carpet dirty and very worse for wear, walls also mucky. Broken bin in apartment (read this on another review, obviously hasn't been resolved). Furniture has seen better days, stained sofa etc. Fingerprints/ grubby marks on walls/ kitchen. Stains on carpets. Bathroom was moldy and could have done with some bleaching. The dust on ths radiators/ skirting boards, lamps etc were on another level. Highly disappointed in our stay and unfortunately we won't be returning or recommending this to anyone else. Desperately in need of some TLC and a deep deep clean by cleaners that care.

So mych space lots off light. Every you could as for washer/ dishwasher even dishwasher tablets . Coffee machine even different pods . Close to main centre. Will definitely return.

Wasn't a problem for us but quite a lot of stairs. Could do with some drawers for clothes. Could also do with a light on outside door.

Location was great, very spacious and modern.

Could have been a lot cleaner, the skirting boards were dusty and bathroom could have used a bit of bleach and tlc. A few stains on the carpet in the bedroom also. Some things were damaged such as the bin in the kitchen (sounds picky but cheap enough to replace) and the coffee table was broken as if people had put their foot through. Cutlery was dirty had to wash this before using. No parking passes left but luckily we know the area well and only cost us £20 for the weekend.

Excellent location, modern apartment with all the facilities you could need. Well stocked kitchen , even a coffee machine. Comfortable seating ,stylish decor. Spotlessly clean. Brilliant view of tge Abbey

Light in bathroom on a timer - a little frustrating when showering or shaving. Could do with a couple of hooks to hang coats. Also a little shelf in shower cubicle to hold your soap shampoo . Only minor adjustments.
