Stunning Scandi Style Room Overlooking Lake Wanaka

Comfortable, well equipped, lovely view.

Location was wonderful among beautiful properties and gardens. The host’s garden was lovely and ideal for a late afternoon drink.

As others have commented the lack of any self catering facilities although we were aware of this. But to have a plate to put predinner nibbles on etc would have been a bonus. The fridge is exceptionally small for those taking supplies from one place to another. As an older person I found it difficult to get up from the very soft low sofa - my problem!

The place is beautiful and Pete and Sue were very nice. The neighborhood is wonderfull.

Would have been nice for a little more room for luggage and a kitchen sink would be nice.

Scandi is located in a quiet part of town, approximately 5 minutes drive from centre. Room is self contained and well equipped. Parking is on the street, free. Host is friendly and helpful. Very nice place to stay.

Location is in a residential neighborhood so a ways away from restaurants and activities (both a good and not so good thing).

The room is attached to the owners property so I could hear them moving around. There was not a view of the lake, which was my main reason for choosing it. Not really good for self catering and eateries are a drive away.

Due to our own lack of finding out what facilities there were, we arrived with 4 days of food expecting self-catering, but there were no cooking facilities. But Pete & Sue were really helpful in getting us organized.
