The Whitby Prospect, large apartment, fantastic views & parking

The location is across the road to the beach, with excellent views from the 4th floor. Very clean and the beds are so comfortable we had a good night's sleep the 7 nights we stayed. We were lucky to have good weather during our stay. The apartment has 2 floors and a lift to get to your apartment.

2 sets of keys would be good, if anyone wanted to come back later.

Clean, uncluttered and had everything we needed for a weeks stay. Lee was on hand when we had issues with the shower and checked in on us by message the following day to see if all issues were resolved. Nice to have a pint of milk in the fridge and a packet of biscuits on arrival. Great views of the abbey.

Bathroom was dated and in need of a refurb but it was clean. Just little things like going to the effort to leave us a fresh dishcloth and sponge scourer but then an empty washing up liquid bottle and nearly empty hand soap bottle in the bathroom on arrival. Advertised as having toiletries provided so was expecting the basics - shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. There wasn’t anything so had to nip out to the supermarket. All very minor things though didn’t ruin anything. Also it would’ve been great to have 2 sets of keys.

The location is perfect, quiet, near the beach and a short walk to the shops and restaurants. The apartment is spacious with 2 bedrooms and 2 toilets on 2 levels and the bathroom is located upstairs.

If I had to mention something, it could be that there is no dishwasher or washing machine in the apartment. We found a great laundrette not too far away.

We liked the apartment. Good facilities. Clean, tidy and well equipped. Sea views if you stand at the windows. Towels had a lovely fresh smell!

One of the bedrooms was locked meaning we couldn’t use it. I thought we had paid for the full apartment. Scaffolding up on the outside. Wish the car park had been nearer as the weather was terrible. Yes there is a sea view , unfortunately there’s no way to sit and look at the view.

Very well equipped self catering flat with a small welcome pack which made us feel very welcomed had the bonus of sea views

Staff were exceptionally friendly & helpful. Nice food and good menu available. Lots of guests seemed to be returning customers

When we entered our room the bathroom door was faulty and could not be closed which was unpleasant. This was reported immediately but not corrected while we were there which was a shame with all the other positives mentioned

Lovely location, everything provided, very clean. We enjoyed the quirky historic building and the views. Lee was very responsive when we messaged. We didn't find anything that we needed that wasn't there. It was nice to have two floor for our kids to roam about. Proximity to the beach is unbeatable.
