The Whitby Prospect, large apartment, fantastic views & parking

Apartment was just what we needed. A little away from the main marina but we enjoyed the leisurely 10 min walk. Facilities in the old hotel, that were shared, we're clean and well lit. Felt very safe. Leaflets and info about the local area were available and kitchen was equipped if you wanted to cook.

Amenities, the environment, cleanliness and had all the things we needed. Excellent place to stay. Close to the beach and not too far from the town's attractions.

Maybe a washing machine would have been good but not necessarily required.

It is as described, warm and cosy. I desperately want a cup of coffee on arrival and milk is in the fridge. Highly recommend. Thank you.

Lift is a bit noisy but it is understandable.

Lee, the host was excellent. Always available if needed. He followed up our request to turn the heating up! Location of apartment was good - 5 minute walk to the whale arch and then a further 10-15 minute walk to the harbour area where there is a good selection of pubs and restaurants. Highly recommend Trenchers for fish and chips. The Chinese restaurant on the ground floor of the apartment was an added bonus, just make sure you take cash as no cards are accepted! Apartment is on the 4th floor so good views. The apartment itself has everything you could need - it’s great to have a place with all the extra little bits - towels, shower gel, hand wash, washing up liquid, cleaning products, blankets, tea, coffee and sugar, even a selection of novels!

The weather! The temperature of the apartment wasn’t warm enough for us but Lee changed the heater temperatures which improved things.

Fantastic location, right next to the sea front. Lovely, spotlessly clean apartment. Lee, the host was excellent.

Plenty of space for us and it was very comfortable. Everything that we needed to have a great weekend. Host was attentive and keen to make sure that everything was ok. Thought that it was very good value

The apartment itself was perfectly clean, had fantastic views and was in the perfect location. We found it cosy and decorated really well.

Through no fault of the property owner, the lift was not working at the time of our stay. There was nothing that could be done about this, as the lift is owned by the owner of the block of apartments, so we don’t want this to reflect negatively on the owner of the apartment at all, just worth noting in case anyone needs the lift.
