Location was good

It had not been cleaned. old towels, full bins, used toiletries, not hoovered, hairs on bed, hairs in fridge, cup marks on table and food waste left in kitchen. This obviously made us believe the bedding had also not been changed as the rest of the property had not been cleaned. Spoilt our weekend.

The property was close to all the amenities.

Guests should be warned in advance of the steep staircase access. people with mobility problems or young children would struggle. Whilst basically clean, more attention should be paid to details like loo holder, towel rail, taps etc. Early morning noise from the pub/hotel next door disturbs sleep.

High step to get in property a bit of a problem

Location was ideal - not far from car park and close to harbour. View of harbour from window.

Very deep step from road and steep staircase to access apartment. Some noise from pub after hours and early morning brewery delivery but not excessive.

Great location for local amenities, apartment lovely.

Too close to the pub behind, late night noise and woken every morning with them emptying the bottle bins.

The flat was really comfortable, well equipped and well located.

A few areas weren’t as clean as would be expected - bathroom floors (particularly the corners and behind the doors), under the bedside cabinet in the twin bedroom, the bin lid in the kitchen, the cutlery and crockery had stains from food/drinks not washed off. It was difficult to operate the windows. There was a lot of noise from The Angel. It would be helpful for potential guests to see a photo of the stairwell to see how steep the stairs are. The first step into the stairwell from outside is very high. A slip mat for use in the showers would be helpful. The bath in the main bathroom is very deep with a high step out.
