Could have been a little cleaner- more attention to detail needed

It was filthy

The location was very good as we were attending a weekend music festival across the river at the arena. It was also walking distance into town. So convenient.

When I arrived, I had to pay a £100 deposit, and had to do this with a bank transfer. I also asked for a 2nd key so my friend could have one if we got separated. I had to pay £50 for this. It was paid back on Tuesday after checking out on Monday so not too bad. When I arrived I found the apartment clean, generally but not in a great state of decoration or repair. I also found a half smoked roll up and dirt on the living room floor. This could have fallen out of the cleaners bin bag but wasn't a great first find. There was also only 1 teaspoon, 1 fork, 1 spoon and 4 knives in the kitchen drawer. No chopping board and no basics such as salt and pepper and small tea and coffee samples and no tea towels. Little things like this go a long way. The apartment size is brilliant, 2 big rooms and bathrooms and the beds were comfortable. It could do with a little more colour and pictures on the walls which don't cost a lot. The blinds in the room were white and broken which let in a lot of light and there was a fair amount of noise from the street and corridor. The reception staff, Tim who booked us in was very friendly and helpful and dealt with the cutlery issue and the cigarette issue quickly and offered me another flat which I did not need, but I was grateful for the offer. All in all, not a bad experience, but there could be some minor improvement on the place to update and upgrade.

The location was good and the rooms were big.

Check in was chaotic because there was only one member of staff working and they didn’t have a card machine so paying the deposit was stressful. If you were going to ask for a deposit then you need to have a card machine to make it work. The apartments were very basic with some of the spot lights not working and furniture looked very tired and worn out. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Location is good (however there are people openly urinating outside the property, taking drugs and drink, shouting for money as you enter and exit).

On arrival you have to pay a £100 deposit, which is fine, but you cannot pay on card only bank transfer or they will cancel your booking. Then they write your sort code and account number down with your name and place it in a plastic drawer under the desk…however it is not locked, nor is the front door, and the desk is not always manned! GDPR violation right away! Apartment was dirty, empty drink bottles left behind, fridge dirty, curtain pole hanging off, 1 of the 2 showers didn’t have a shower head attached, no fire alarm in the kitchen just wires hanging from the ceiling…just terrible.

Nice location, clean rooms and comfortable beds.
