The Cottage

The property is clean, tucked away from the main street so there is no noise at night, it has everything you need and perfect location for the places we wanted to visit, Bamburgh was only a 10 minute drive. The host came to check on us when we first arrived and was really friendly and welcoming. It felt like a home away from home. I have already recommended to a friend who wants to visit Northumberland.

Privacy and coziness

Everything was lovely. Good location to get to other places. Everything in the cottage you need, like being home to home. Clean, tidy. Owner communication was great, information was sent early and if asked anything was replied to quickly. The Bed was soooo comfy.

Nothing really.

It was beautiful. Nice and fresh inside was spotless. No faults at all it was lovely.

the owners came out as we pulled up but the keys were in the door to the property anyway. So access would have been simple. Parking was available. The property has simply everything we needed including a full kitchen. Bed was comfy, bathroom was good, critically, as we stayed in a very cold spell of weather, the property was warm. It had everything we needed.

ok .. a tiny whinge .. the sofa is soooo uncomfortable!! IF the weather had been better we would have spent less time in the property but as it was we spent a lot of time there on a couple of days ....and that sofa almost killed me!!

Lovely area, great hosts, lovely log fire and a great setting. A nice cosy break

The Cottage was cosy, warm and very comfy. It has everything you need, and location is great. Handy for trips to the coast, into Scotland, or south into Newcastle and surrounding area. Communication with the owners was easy, and responses to our queries were clear and immediate.

Location central in village in easy of local attractions. Very private and parking in front of the cottage
