- bed too small for us (my man is 6 foot +) - needed electric blankets (I’m being picky) - need new dishwashing drying rack (it was dirty)

There was a very nice offering of food for breakfast, much more than we expected. We found the property central to all our needs with a fairly quick walk into the shops/pubs. We saw whales from the verandah.

Doona was a bit short.

Was very disappointed to be woken up at midnight by very inconsiderate hosts. Very loud laughing, talking, sliding doors opening and closing constantly and people walking around in shoes/boots that felt like they were in the same room. If this had of only taken place for a short time we could understand. But to actually make this noise for several hours was not acceptable. As we could hear every noise and conversation we did not feel at all comfortable and decided to forfeit a night and leave the next morning. This accomodation was not cheap and more consideration should be made for quests.

We had 2 lovely nights here. The view from the deck on the spectacularly sunny day was stunning. It was a warm, comfy apartment stocked with more than the basics. Loved the egg holder (mini penguins), the freshly laid eggs, and the egg cooker! We were provided with a sourdough loaf and butter etc. The barbecue worked well. Great beds with a choice of pillows. Easy walk to the blowhole just 5 minutes down the hill.

Only minor issues. The parking instructions were a bit confusing. We parked in the wrong place the first night. There was only 1 giant wineglass but the young woman who welcomed us provided a couple of other glasses.

So glad we stay here for the night. Was welcomed by the host. Lovely little place, cosy and very clean. Beautiful scenic views, not far from the Bicheno Blowhole. Had the best night sleep and breakfast was supplied. Will definitely stay in our next travels if available.

Absolutely nothing to dislike.

Clean and well appointed

Location was on the edge of the town so relatively quiet and peaceful. Nice view from the small front deck. Apartment was small but adequate and clean. Comfortable bed and nice linen. Ground coffee and a plunger and lots of tea varieties provided which was a nice surprise.

The add for this accommodation said breakfast and lunch were provided. There was half eaten food in the refrigerator, half empty jam bottles, no bread, a small square of butter on the bench, eggs in fridge and 2 new packets of cold meat in the fridge. . There was a couple of home cooked frozen meals in freezer which looked like they had been there for months. There was overripe fruit on the bench. All in all the food component was disappointing especially after reading the lovely reviews in the visitors book. We did not expect to have to go and buy food for breakfast. Hopefully it was a one off situation.

Comfy bed, appreciated the fresh bread and the spaghetti bol.... Other meal had no name ???

Contacted our hosts 4 times and they did not response once during our stay/nor since.. Bathroom vanity needs to be addressed, way to small and the fridge also needs repairs or replaced.. More so, the reason we left a day earlier without asking for a refund 🙃 Was the disrespect of having guests with host noise upstairs.. washing dishes/pots, movement of furniture and voices before sunrise 7am and after 10pm.

Host responds quickly to questions and helpful. Bed very comfortable and bathroom rain shower good. Wonderful view from porch. Three minute drive to town and beach. very roomy, plenty of storage. very clean. Quiet location in cul de sac. Annex has a connecting door to owners house but mostly quiet. Under new ownership.

Kitchenette had no stove top, pots or pans. Cooking only by microwave or bbq. Limited eateries in town. Parking not ideal as on verge- no actual space.
