Wine Down Downtown ATL 14J

I really liked the one-bedroom apartment,It felt spacious and well-designed, with a layout that made the space feel open and welcoming. The modern finishes and fixtures gave it a stylish, upscale vibe. The location was another big plus – it offered easy access to local spots, aquarium, world of coca-cola, olympic centre, & many other tourist attractions around Atlanta, which was super convenient. Overall, it felt like a comfortable and practical place to call home. also loved the location, with its beautiful views of the cityscape.

There were a few drawbacks. The shortage of basic supplies like tissues was inconvenient, and it would’ve been helpful if the staff could assist with calling a taxi, especially for visitors without a local number. Another downside was the limited Wi-Fi access; it only worked inside the apartment and didn’t extend to common areas like the downstairs lobby. Additionally, the lack of satellite channels on the TV was disappointing, as it limited entertainment options.

The front desk folks were very friendly and helpful. Even though we arrived after 9pm, they were available to help us get into the building. It was close to the Hyatt.

The elevator broke down, and we had to walk up 14 flights to our room. The sockets on the wall were all loose and hanging from the wall. There were very few cooking instruments and nothing to bake with. The door to the apartment looked like it had been kicked in, and it seemed easy to break. The plates seemed dirty, and the dishwasher was broken, with a note inside that said not to use it. The smoke alarm was in the drawer without batteries.

Leading is the only thing I liked

I stayed about 15 minutes and instantly realized it was not what i expected, i contacted right away and explained some real concerns and showed pictures but was told it wasn't his place and that no refund would be given. I didn't care about the money my safety and comfort was my concern. I explained about the door knob about to fall off, and he said it wasn’t his door knob, I read it a list from the previous day if you look at the reviews that somebody else had the same issue the day before. Homeless people everywhere begging for money, smells like drugs, Total misrepresentation. Air conditioners, technically work, but blow air at a snails pace. It would take forever to cool down the place. Very lightly stocked no cups, no linens, etc.. Do not waste your money here stay up a Holiday Inn, Marriott or Hilton. Yes, they’ll be a little more expensive but you won’t regret it. Also take a few minutes to read some of the other reviews you’ll see I’m not the only one with the same issues and just wasted $400 of my money and booking.com does not assist

It was hot in the apartment the door knob was about to fall off the bed was hard it was 4 different remotes to the livingroom tv that didn’t work had to keep unplugging the tv to get it to come on we didn’t stay

Terrible location with homeless and beggars immediately outside the front entrance - was scary. Apartment looked a whole lot better in pictures than in person.

It was very close to everything, walking distance to many attractions. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Building staff friendly. Easy check in and out.

The area outside the apartment gets a little sketchy when the sun goes down. The red couch in living area could use an update. You sink into it when you sit on it. We just didn’t use it since there were only the two of us, but would be a problem with a larger group. The tv in living area has a very strange channel system and couldn’t find a channel guide. The one in bedroom is fine, so not sure why they don’t use same system. Whole apartment could use some freshening up of paint, just some TLC. Need a light cover for fluorescents in kitchen.

We really liked the location. We went for DragonCon and we were close enough to walk but also far enough to "get away" from the con. I loved how quiet it was within the building. The security is top notch. Everyone was so nice and greeted us coming and going. It is the perfect spot to watch the DragonCon parade without having to deal with the crowd. The apartment is also convenient to local restaurants. There is public parking adjacent to the apartment and other decks nearby. The adjacent parking is monthly, 12 hours, or 24 hours parking. It was easy to sign up and renew the parking. You are easily within walking distance of the Aquarium, Coca Cola, and the Olympic Centennial Park.

We did not like that there was not really any AC. In all fairness, I had read on previous comments that it was a problem, but it's different when you actually experience it. I don't always heed those kinds of comments because I like a really cold room and can put up with less AC than I'm used to, but we had to use fans all over the place just to have air circulating. I bet it feels great in the fall and winter.

The Room was clean and so big for the price. Definitely recommend this place to everyone!
