Die Lage. 5 min zur Fähre, 7 min zum Strand.

Der Pool hat nicht funktioniert darüber wurden wir im Vorhinein nicht informiert. Da wir die Unterkunft eigentlich nur gebucht hatten weil sie dieses extra hat, war das sehr schade und es wurde uns nach dem wir uns beschwert haben kein Rabatt gewährt.

It is an amazing, spacious place, slightly remote and with less infrastructure, but if this is what you are looking for - go there! The breakfast basket is so, so nice and convenient (you agree time and it hangs at your door) and eating it by the lagoon was the highlight of my stay. The staff is helpful and nice, and there are free kayaks to use and different spots to sit and read your book.

The price is quite high - but that's subjective :) The beds are soft, and I prefer them firmer, but again - just my opinion.

Ricardo was lovely, easily contactable and very helpful. Location was a good mid point between the lagoon and centre. Bed was very comfy

Shower water pressure wasn’t the best but not a deal breaker

The property is located in central bacalar. Close to restaurants and Bars. The host Richard is such a great person and is there to help with anything you need.

Did not know before hand that the property would require you to pay in person rather than charge on the booking website. So immigration may give you a little trouble when they see you haven’t payed for the reservation in advance

Lovely room in the perfect location. Ricardo was excellent at providing lots of information and helpful for our activities. Would recommend!

There was nothing we didn't like

Nice and cute place, very central and close to everything you need in Bacalar. Ricardo, the anfitríon of the properly was really helpful to find the best deals on kayak rentals and trips around the Laguna and was always responsive for everything we asked.

Humidity in the apartment a little too high when not ventilated, although in general from a Laguna region one cannot expect much. Aerate and using the fan helps.

Good location, convenient street parking at the front, overall clean, very helpful and friendly host!

There was mold on the walls, not a lot but a little bit around the sink. Due to the very humid location we understood this is a huge issue in the whole region and kind of hard to skip. The host was very nice and didnt know about it so we are sure he has worked on it. Overall, this is common in the area but still not nice to have.
