Beach front penthouse apartment

The views were amazing, beautiful flat.

Bath was a bit small, TV had a line through it..

The security, the stairs, my friend had a medical emergency, ambulance could not enter,, they had to use the stairs to get to the patient,, we had to walk down as there was no one to open for the ambulance,, the water from the shower comes out small it's q joke really

The view is a big plus of this apartment. Late Check out was granted thank you.

On arrival there was no power at the apartment and the owner just ignored us on that day what was very disappointing. The one room aircon was not working. After reporting the technician said it has to be replaced as it’s broken but nothing was done about it. The sink also was blocked.

The penthouse had exceptional views and perfect location. The facility was clean and private and exceeded my expectations. The security was great and welcoming too.

There are a lot of monkeys in the location and there is no lift to get to the penthouse level.

53 stairs!!! We are elderly and both need knee replacements. No mention about the stairs on booking site. Lots of black mold in the bathrooms - even mold in the kitchen cabinets!! Dirty pots and pans, we used our own pan to cook. Two of the 3 aircons do not work, even after we bought new batteries for the remotes. Very rude staff member when we checked in and confusing entry instruction given. Really not value for money. It has a nice view, but so have many more apartments along the cost. This apartment is in need of renovations/maintenance.

The location is excellent with fantastic views. All the bedrooms have TVs.

The property has not been looked after in years and does not deserve the title of penthouse (except that it's on the top floor), as this infers top notch quality in every way. My own home is more of a penthouse than this. The apartment is was not cleaned properly before we arrived, perhaps a dust-over and wipe, at best. Old dirt had settled in in most areas of the apartment, especially the shutters, with black mold in the ensuite shower and on the ceiling. All the draws in the master bedroom cupboard are falling apart and unusable. One of the bedroom doors and the common bathroom door have fist-sized holes in them. The amazing gas braai facility (which was one of the main reasons I rented the place, for a family birthday celebration), simply does not exist (the photos on Booking.com are way out of date). A small, rusted Weber-style braai was the only thing on the balcony for me to use. I was extremely upset about this. The microwave oven didn't work, at all, and had to be replaced while we were occupying the apartment, on my time, which was inconvenient, as we had to wait for the maintenance guy to install it before we could go out for dinner. He arrived at about 19h30 from the mall with the new microwave oven. All the light bulbs in both bathrooms had to be replaced before we could shower - also done on my time. There were no lights working on the balcony, by which time I'd had enough of the running repairs, so, I didn't bother chasing for it anymore - we used the emergency hand-held light. The lounge suite has definitely seen better days, and should have been replaced a few years ago. Once the repairs were done (during our occupancy), the place was okay, but the constant need for repairs made for a bad taste in my mouth. This made it not worth the large price-tag. I will not return to this holiday apartment, as it needs an overhaul.
