Beach front penthouse apartment

Beautiful view

The check in is complicated if you don’t know the area. When we arrived the code did not want to unlock the door. Took us 30 min before security gave us a new code. The remote for the gate works occasionally. But most of the time we had to ask someone to open for us. The apartment was very dirty. The showers, dust and and linen. Looks like the place have been empty for a while and no one cleansed before we arrived, looked like someone was lying on the beds as it was not made properly. The lights flicker the whole time. One shower is broken. We couldn’t use the braai facility’s as planned because the small Weber is completely rusted. Previous guest lipgloss and other items were still on the drawers. Overall the experience was really disappointing. Will not reccomend at all.

We really enjoyed our stay. Booking host was extremely friendly and helpful. The penthouse is beautiful furnished and finished and the perfect holiday rental for a small family. The views are breathtaking. I would absolutely stay here again.

Safety and comfortable.

Hasn’t been cleaned in a while and would look even beautiful if they painted or scrubbed the floors outside and the walls.

Location ok

52 Stairs to the unit from the parking area. Not ideal if you have a lot of luggage. Most people go on vacation to rest (not to have a few daily workouts). Unit not well equiped. NO OVEN in unit. No tumble dryer. Dishes and cutlery very dirty. Had to rewash everthing we wanted to use. One plate on gas stove not working. Most lamps in unit without light bulbs. Wall clock not working and also had use our own batteries for some of the remotes. Lights outside on patio not working. Open electrical box with electrical wires on patio wall (not save for anyone). Small charcoal BBQ. Unit advertised with weber gas BBQ. Small BBQ on patio just big enough to cook for 2 people at a time. No casserole for BBQ food. TV in 2nd bedroom not working. No remote for it either. Informed host about it and was told they are awaiting delivery of a new one....?? View was lovely but patio not under cover like most other units. No umbrella or cover on patio for that rainy days. Undercover parking of all units very tight and had to park our vehicle by visitors parking. Unit advertised with "own private pool" which is not the case. There is one swimming pool catering for all the units and it is not private and in front of 2 ground floor units. 82 Stairs from the swimming pool to the unit. Won't recommend this unit. Not worth the money.

check-in was such a mission. They need to simplify that process

The penthouse is very beautiful just a few issues to be fixed.

The keys were not dropped off at the time of check in and the manual keys were swapped. The caretaker Trust is very arrogant and we had a problem with locking the door cause the codes were not working

i really liked the breath taking view, also enjoyed sunrise daily. enjoyed having break fast viewing beach.

sliding doors need to be fixed , need broom in the house to sweep the floor in case is a mess by the kids.

The check in process was a nightmare Oasis sent so many emails and links it was overload of info. A simple whatssup with steps would have been fine Then to open so many boxes with different pin codes to get the keys - a job on it’s own No signal at place where key collected I had to ask someone to go onto the wifi to get all the codes to open door Check out time 09:00 which is unreasonable The one bedroom door did not lock we slept with it open Not our best stay in Ballito Aircon did not work properly No oven in the unit
