Porta Galliera Apartment

Location is great, just a short walk from the train station. Small kitchen, but adequate for a short stay. The apartment was clean and the shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water.

The apartment is listed as a 2-bedroom, but it is not -- at least, it was not configured that way when we stayed. The loft was being used for storage and access was blocked. The second "bedroom" was an uncomfortable cot in the kitchen/dining area with no privacy. The cot had a thin mattress and was barely large enough for 2 adults.

The place was beautiful and so comfortable. It was also perfectly located for a quick transit-day. The hosts were extremely helpful and communicative when I needed help getting in the apartment—so friendly!

I’ve never used a key pad like this place has so I struggled with that navigation. Also, a clearer instruction to use the handle with the keypad instead of the handle in the middle of the door would’ve been helpful, but otherwise, overall, everything was great! I also loved the futon bed that I didn’t expect would be included.

Less than a 5 minute walk to the train station. If you need a cab just go to the train station even at 5am, there’s cabs. Great location. Apartment was easy to access the owner uses an app with which you can unlock the main door and front door no need to carry keys around. Spacious apartment, modern. Great for our group of three. Nice view of the city roads, no street noise.

Only issue is there is some some of leak in the bathroom. After a while the bathroom floor gets wet, unsure why.

It wasn't claen enough. I don't like that I found opened cookies from previous owners. They could even offer a bottle of water as a welcome. The photos of the owners and the old towels made you feel uncomfortable and that the room does not belong to you.

It was a really beautiful apartment, the offer of the price was really nice and everything was clean. Next to the city and the train station. The apartment was really beautiful and bright! We really enjoyed our stay there.

Really good location because it was near to the center and the train station. But it was kind of a weird region at the night. Also there were not shampoo shamples.

location , cleaning was very good. When we wanted to check in 2 hr early, the host provided this opportunity.

Amazing location, just yards from the station and with cafes right downstairs, but not noisy. Great views over the city. Nice and warm in winter. No frills, but spacious and had just what we needed for a weekend stay. Can't comment on the adequacy of the kitchen as we only used the kettle. Nice to have an elevator to the front door. Friendly, helpful hosts who answered quickly. Oh, and Bologna is an awesome city.

There is limited privacy between the two bedrooms, which could be an issue for some travellers. Getting in using the code was a bit of a faff - watch the instructional videos first!
