Realkasa Azeglio Apartments

The location was as good as you could hope for in Bologna; just a few minutes from the main square and all the good restaurants and bars. The hosts wewre incredibly generous and accomodating with our check in and check out times, and the apartment was well kitted out for our needs.

Genuinely insanely great trip. So much fun.

Brilliant location, all the sights in easy reach. Nice apartment, nice furnishings, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds. Communication with host was very good. The shower curtain was missing and it was replaced within a few hours of me reporting it.

The pictures on Booking.com are slightly misleading as they show 2 apartments mixed together. We were surprised to find we didn't have a double bed, just 4 singles, and there wasn't really a kitchen, just some basic equipment on top of a cupboard. We didn't plan on cooking so it wasn't a problem for us but check which apartment you're getting if you want to make anything to eat. It is a nice apartment but as other reviews have commented, it could do with some maintenance. The hairdryer was broken, a couple of lights didn't work, one armchair has no legs. None of this stopped us having a great stay but it wasn't the best apartment we've had. And to be fair to the host, they accepted the feedback graciously.

Absolutely NOT suitable for people with mobility issues, as it is 4 stairs up and no working lift (yet). It can be a little noisy as well, so earplugs recommended.

Locatie was top! Cristiano stond ons netjes op te wachten en was heel vriendelijk. En hij was ook erg flexibel dat we onze tassen wat langer in het appartement mochten laten staan.

Er was geen douchegordijn dus alles werd nat. De meubels zijn echt verouderd. In een van de bedden zit een flinke scheur tegen de achterwand. Van een van de twee stoelen zijn de poten onderuit en als je daar met vier zou slapen dan heb je maar een fijne stoel. Bij die zonder poten zit je bijna op de grond. Een thee mok en geen wijnglazen. Advies: haal wat nieuw servies en zet er wat andere meubels in en een douchegordijn.

The apartment is very close to the city center. It is spacious, clean, and offers a nice view. When the windows are closed, very little noise can be heard from outside. It also includes an electric moka pot for making coffee.

The upstairs beds are best suited for children rather than adults. The interior staircase is quite steep and can be challenging to descend. The bathroom is separated from the entrance hallway by an interior window. The property is located on the fourth floor, and while an elevator is present, it is not yet operational.

La posizione unica nota positiva...indicata presenza macchina caffè...nessuna macchina del caffè ma una moka, senza caffè ne zucchero. Nemmeno una bottiglia di acqua di benvenuto (non dico vino o altro che sarebbe un attenzione non dovuta). Letto matrimoniale assente, soppalco approssimativamente allestito...eravamo lì per lavoro e siamo rientrati solo per dormire per cui non avevamo necessità particolari ma nemmeno quelle sono state soddisfatte...la puzza di fogna

Una vergogna il supplemento del check in dopo le 19. Il nostro aereo atterra a alle 21.30...40 euro in più non si sa per cosa. Casa puzzolente di ritorno di odori di fogna Ascensore presente tra i servizi, dicono rotto qualche giorno prima ma con dubbi visto lo stato, non funzionante. Appartamento al 4 piano con scala a chiocciola un problema con i bagagli Macchina del caffè non presente, c era una moka ma senza caffè...da guardare Interruttori della luce per salire nel soppalco solo sopra il soppalco quindi sali e scendi per riuscire a spegnere tutto per dormire Letto matrimoniale non presente...erano 2 letti singoli che si allontanavano di tipologie e altezza diverse...no spalliera del letto ma posato al muro con addobbi in ferro sopra che muovendoci nella notte ci sono caduti in testa... Arredi di uso quotidiano fatiscenti...armadio non presente Prese in camera che o hai la lampada o ti carichi il telefono Il gradino di accesso al bagno un pericolo... Richiesto di poter posare i bagagli prima della partenza non possibile...late check out fuori mercato... Nota positiva la posizione, cura e attenzione del cliente non sanno cosa sia... Se trovate altro in zona anche leggermente più caro è meglio, li recupererete nei servizi e comodità...se siete alti il soppalco è troppo basso e scomodo

We stayed at 22 Azeglia apartment A which was on the fourth floor.. Location and views near to the main square were very nice. The room decor was interesting. Large open plan living area with sofa and TV. Large bathroom sink and nice shower. Good amount of towels provided and some toiletries. Cooking facilities were OK (gas hob, kettle) but some things were missing e.g. No coffee maker of any kind. No ice tray for the freezer. Bed area (double) was on a mezzanine which was OK but had a low ceiling and there were only two small pillows. Steps up to mezzanine were quite steep.

Electrics were poorly maintained. Bulbs were missing or dim. Some hanging wires evident (e.g. from an old kitchen lighting unit no longer connected, see photo) and some of the bathroom lighting fixtures needed maintaining (as well as bulbs missing). Toilet roll holder was loose and hanging down. The cooker extractor unit was missing. Dishwasher had a serious fault (filled with smoke and didn't drain, probably pump failure, when we tried to use it, see photo) which we reported and the management responded quickly and sent an operator round, but this was not resolved during our stay. Fridge was not very cold even at maximum (coolest) setting. Lift was not working and it looked like it was still being commissioned so the apartment is not really suitable if you have limited mobility, as there are a lot of steps to reach it. In general the stairs area was not well maintained with plaster missing from the walls in places so not a good first impression.

Great central location! Beautiful old decorative pieces in the apartment. Bigger than it looks.

Too loud with neighbour during night (eg walls are thin so you can hear banging of door or loud laughter). Missing coffee

Das Apartment war sehr geräumig und hatte viele Fenster. Die Lage ist sehr günstig, da man mit wenigen Schritten den Piazza Maggiore erreicht.

Die Duschbrause war leider lose und der Duschvorhang sollte getauscht werden.
