The living room was nice

The bedroom was filthy

Good location and comfortable.

Could do with some basic TLC. Bedroom door didn't close properly, paint work chipped, large chip out of the glass coffee table and there was mouldy food in the cupboard, presumably left by a previous guest. Would have been nice if there was some basics left like tea coffee and milk. There was some dregs of coffee in a canister, but it looked very old and given the state of the other food left I didn't want to trust it. No tea towels.

Short walk into town. For a self catering stay, it does have most of what you would need

Sheets weren't clean (looked like blood on the double bed sheet) but there were spares so changed them. No smoke alarm in hall(removed). Poor reception on the TV.

Large apartment, had everything you needed

Location was awesome close to everything walking distance.

No issues at all

Surroundings convenient for the city centre (if on a slightly run-down estate).

While broadly usable, the flat was full of small niggles, and felt like a lot of it could do with a bit of TLC and maintence to bring it up to the level that would be expected. Among other items, this included a non-functional plug on the bathroom sink (which had to be held open with a spoon to drain), to furniture falling to bits (bathroom cupboard, bedroom wardrobe), to missing thermostats (so heating could only be full power or off - could see old one on wall, but not working), to a feeling of insecurity due to building entrances being left wedged open most of the time by other residents. Quite a bit of street noise, but expected for a city centre flat

Bed is horrible. Should never have a bed kissing the radiator
