It should be noted from the positive side - the convenient location and the fact that the kitchen is equipped with everything you need, including a complimentary bottle of wine (we did not use it) and capsules for the coffee machine.

Old TV only in Italian, no possibility to connect to wifi to watch TV in your language. No shower head, only a tropical shower. This is very inconvenient if you want to wash your feet after a walk. The water in the shower drained poorly. You had to stop the shower regularly to let the water drain. There are mice. I sleep very lightly. One night, I woke up from a strange rustling coming from my head. The headboard of the bed is against the wall. I turned over to the other side, thought it seemed so/was a dream. As soon as I stopped making noise, similar rustling sounds were heard again. I lay quietly listening, and the noise was heard again and again. Then I hit the headboard with my palm in the hope that this would scare the mouse. Indeed, after that, the rustling stopped. On subsequent nights, I either did not hear, or there was no mouse. Check-out is before 10, everywhere before it was before 12, I did not pay attention when booking, but this is too early. Nevertheless, we agreed that we would leave at 10, but the owner's son arrived at 9.30 for the keys and we were forced to get ready earlier, although I had a work call at that time before 10.00.

We spent three wonderful days in Catania. Emanuele met us at the airport. Imagine: your plane landed at 21.30, and at 22.00 you are already tasting wonderful Sicilian wine, which the wonderful host prepared for you. The apartment has everything you need and even more: iron, ironing board, hair dryer, coffeemachine, good coffee, beach umbrella (and sunscreen creme!), candles for a cozy atmosphere. Very clean, lots of space, very comfortable bed, interesting decor, lots of nice little things! Very convenient place for travelers: two minutes walk to the bus station with buses in all directions. Grocery stores nearby. The center is within walking distance. On the day of departure, Emanuele allowed us to leave our bags and in the evening he took us to the airport. Thank you very much for your hospitality! We will definitely come back!

Nice apartment close to the train station. The host was great, despite not knowing much English.

We could hear everything from the street, and the neighbourhood was a little sketchy.

train station and bus terminal are very close to the apartment. and shuttle service to airport.

There was a moldy smell in the room. because it's not holiday season, so i guess this apartment was empty for a long time...?
